We met another couple and we were all very happy from beginning to end. The service and atmosphere were very nice. The sharing concept worked well and we all loved our choices of food. The restaurant has a welcoming, cozy atmosphere even though it has a large seating capacity. We are already looking forward to going back.

Embers is all about their open flame cooking. We loved the smokey egg plant dip and the rigatoni with chorizo. The server had great suggestions that we were glad we followed.

Great food and friendly server, however the service & food was a little slow (45 minute wait between finishing our starter and main course). There seemed to be only one server for the restaurant with two more helping out.

Food was excellent- but service was very slow. We were sitting at the high tops- not sure if that's why. Seemed like we didn't have a designated server. Bartender was excellent and tended to us, but he was also busy with drinks at the bar. We had to ask to have our orders taken, for the bill, for a bottle of wine. I would go back and recommend, but maybe sit at the standard tables instead, where service may be more attentive.

We ordered 3 cold dishes and 3 hot dishes plus two sides for 4 people and it was plenty. We enjoyed sharing all the dishes. I don't normally eat brussels sprouts, but the way they had prepared them had me coming back for seconds! All the food was excellent, but the highlights were the smoky eggplant dip and the salmon crudo. We ordered extra bread to mop the plates. The waiter was very helpful and knowledgeable. We had a quiet corner in the window and they turned down the music so we could more easily hear each other talk. We also shared a couple of desserts: tiramisu and cheesecake; very nicely done.

The restaurant was noisy for dinner on a Friday night. My friend and I could barely hear each other sitting across a small table. Price of food was generally reasonable, but quality was inconsistent and could be improved. To start, the tartare + marrow were overpowered by the pickles, so neither of the main ingredients stood out. Coal roasted eggplants was a bit confusing, with too many ingredients that didn’t cohesively come together. We ordered the steak medium rare but was cooked medium. However, the fresh bread and wood fire halloumi were excellent!

Awesome experience. All of our dishes were tasty and well prepared. This was our first trip there, but it won't be our last!

The manager came once to check how things were when the app hit the table and we appreciated that. The server barely came and wasn’t really warm or nice until the end which was strange, I felt a bit avoided, no check ins till the end. The food was delicious. No steak knife with a $70 steak is a major restaurant fail in my view - never seen that in all my years serving and being a patron. Overall it was delicious and beautiful great vibes, but servers should check in after every course right away and I also felt the food was high price point for the quality of service ratio.

On entering the restaurant there was a wonderful smell of wood smoke. All the staff were amazing, knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. The decor was smart & sophisticated with a relaxing ambience. This is the second time we have visited the restaurant within a week as we enjoyed the first visit so much. The food was amazing. We tried both the hot and cold dishes and each one was delicious. We particularly enjoyed the halloumi dish and the tuna one. The side dishes of potatoes with lemon aoli and the asparagus with almonds were amazing. We felt the food to be exceptional and would thoroughly recommend the restaurant.
