   Expected much better at Emerils. Ordered a dish I had before and it was NOTHING like the last time or the description on the menu. Without telling me when I ordered or when food delivered, they arbitrarily substituted shrimp for crab that was stated in the menu description and poured the garlic to it. Instead of being light and tasty it was heavy and gross. Cosmo was watered down and made with too much sugary simple syrup. I’m marking Emerils OFF. It’s become a chain. We also ordered fish and chips and Long John Silver’s has Better. Our server was great though but he couldn’t save the disaster in the kitchen and bar.

   Way overrated and disappointing. The menu was poor and the execution not done very well. Given all of the other options in the area, I recommend you go somewhere else.

   Reservation for 9 on Mother's Day. We were sat promptly. The service was excellent. The restaurant is aesthetically pleasing; open and airy. Nice location. Much of the food was just bland. The burgers and raw oysters were a hit with the kids and the adults. The salads were very nice. The chicken and seafood pasta dishes lacked flavor. Unfortunately, the same was the case with some of the side dishes, specifically the whipped mashed and sweet potatoes and the biscuits. Nothing was outright terrible...it just wasn't especially good. It was very vanilla. Good value for the money if the product was tasty. The staff is very warm and welcoming so there was no reason to make a fuss. We very much enjoyed our Mother's Day family luncheon for the togetherness more so than the cuisine.

   We had a reservation, but waited for 20 minutes beyond our reservation time to be seated even though there were multiple tables in view that were empty. We were finally seated at the first table as you enter the dining room which was practically still in the lobby. Meanwhile, there were still multiple other tables available. The table next to us was never bussed the entire time we were there. Our server was friendly and very efficient. I think she was trying to make up for the rest of the staff. At one point we asked for butter and received 4 servings from the kitchen staff. The food was fine. It was overall a very disappointing experience. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless there was no other option. There are so many other wonderful restaurants in the area.

   We had to wait 45 minutes after our reservation. The fish dip was very fishy and I had to send it back and the service was very poor.

    Service was extremely slow, and the restaurant was almost empty. They only had one type of fish left on the menu at 6:30. Food was sub par, not worth the price we paid.
