Located at Grand Boulevard in Sandestin, Emeril's Coastal is the first of Emeril’s Restaurants in Northwest Florida. The cuisine of Emeril's Coastal is symbolic of Emeril’s deep appreciation and connection to the water. Combined with the bountiful variety of nearby fresh Gulf seafood and the freshest local ingredients available, Emeril’s Coastal strives to embark you on a seafood experience like no other.     The staff was very attentive to all 16 of us from the time we arrived. The food was excellent from cocktails to appetizers to the main course to dessert. Be sure to try the Olive Oil Cake! This will be one of our highlights of our Christmas in Florida.

    A little too loud without the music. Once the music started the ambiance improved and the noise decreased.

    Don’t sit in the high top tables near the bar. We didn’t have a designated server, it was disorganized and the server seemed too rushed to give us the information about the specials etc. it was Christmas Eve and we would have appreciated a better experience.

    We walked in (4:45pm) on Christmas Eve without reservations and was told we could not be sat until 8pm without reservations. I walked out, went onto Open Table and made a 5pm reservation and walked right back in. Not sure what that was about, but It was pretty disappointing that I had to do that. We ordered the cornbread and gumbo for app’s and those were great but everyones main dish was lacking. My husband ordered Grouper and I had Redfish, both were average. My son ordered the filet Medium and it came out mostly rare. He insisted that it not be sent back as you never know what happens in those situations. Therefore, he brought it back to our condo and finished cooking it. Our bill was $270 in total, therefore I would expect A LOT more. However, our servers were great but I would not return.

    We had a good experience. Waitress came to our table right after being seated with menus and took drink orders. She periodically checked on us without being intrusive. She was able to answer all our questions on the menu. They had a tasting menu and quite a few specials in addition to their regular menu. Food took a little longer than expected but it was great. We had the fresh grilled grouper and pan seared redfish with 3 sides, green beans, slaw and hush puppies. All were good and large portions. Split peanut butter pie for dessert which was very good. Restaurant was not full. Only thing to note was entree prices for fish seem high given no sides come with it, and many of the sides were pricey although are sized large enough to share. We usually go once or twice a year and will continue to return.

    We had the special 7 Fishes Dinner. It is an excellent choice, where you can try seven different dishes. Service was good but a little rushed. Overall, we would give it an A-.

    A great dining experience, the food was excellent and our server Justin was outstanding. We will definitely return when we are back in the area.

    The food both in quality and preparation is outstanding, the seafood platter and shrimp toast especially. Some items seem very pricey, however, such as $75 for a whole red snapper.

    The food was delicious! We had the pineapple upside down cornbread with bacon for an appetizer … how does Emeril come up with these flavors, but they work perfectly together! The fettuccine with almonds and the ricotta stuffed pasta was nicely done too. The absolute best.. the tiramisu… best ever! And we got sparklers and cotton candy surprise for our anniversary!

    I have always enjoyed Emeril's restaurants in Vegas. We decided to have a last-minute dinner at one in Destin. We were not disappointed. Thank you all for the great service and a superb meal!
