   I rarely return to a restaurant in The City because there are so many to chose from, but the Empire is the exception. From the time you walk in the door until you leave, the experience is exceptional. The service, especially Ben, is 5 star and makes you feel so pampered. And the food and wine list will make it hard to decide what to eat, but you will enjoy every bite. Can't wait to come back again and visit the Empire.

   Our third visit, and we keep coming back for the exceptional service and food quality. Our go-to Emperor's Steak For Two is a perfectly aged and prepared porterhouse for two (+)... Worth every penny. The 54th Street location is elegant and subdued with high ceilings, and the service staff friendly and helpful (thanks Qerim!). It's hard to find a better porterhouse in NYC.

    We found the petit filet to be just the right size for both of us -- we split a salad and split the HUGE baked potato All were excellent and the service was extremely good
