Empire Steak House, conveniently located at 237 west 54 street near Broadway in New York City, showcases modern décor in a classy, but trendy atmosphere. The all-white marble bar and sprawling dining room provide an additional air of sophistication. While Empire's steaks are acclaimed for its famous dry-aged porterhouse for two, the rest of the vast menu is equally stellar, featuring a wide range of fresh seafood such as 4-to 5-lb lobsters, Chilean Sea Bass, Salmon, Yellow Fin Tuna, towering seafood platters, and much more. The eatery offers a highly selective wine list and features many of California's most sought-after vintages. The Zagat rated restaurant is owned and operated by the Sinanaj family. The Sinanaj's success dates back to their first restaurant opening of Empire Steak House in 2010. The space is 4,500 square feet and can accommodate 230 guests for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, private rooms available!

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for the past 3 years , yesterday was by far the worst experiences I’ve ever had at any nyc restaurant by far. First our reservation was a 10:15 we didn’t get seated until 11:48 to be exact , we didn’t leave because we drove all the way from Yonkers and everything else was already booked in the city especially for the time. They were over booked and blaming it on guest arriving late as if that’s the problem of the guest that arrived on time I ordered a New York strip medium , got it well done and when I complained I was told the kitchen was already closing so they gave us 2 complementary shots of low grade vodka. The bar was overwhelmed serving cocktails in champagne glasses To make it short this was not their night and it was bad experience I have video proof if anybody at the restaurant wants to question this review.

We had a reservation for the dining room at 9:00 PM on Valentine’s day. We did not get seated until 9:30 PM in the bar area. It seems like they had double booked; the waiting area was chaotic and we were packed like sardines. The service was okay, our waitress was nice, but definitely overwhelmed. The food was nothing to write home about; my partner’s NY strip came overly charred (likely due to staff trying to move quickly) and at that point we were ready to leave. Unfortunately we don’t know what their typical day looks like, but if planning to go for a special occasion you might find a similar experience.

Way to packed on Valentine’s Day fire department came and the alarm was going off guess to many steaks on the grill back there.

Steak and drinks were great.. Sides were underwhelming especially the Mac n cheese! They sat 4 guest at the same size table as two which was uncomfortable. I will say the servers were good and attentive. This location I will give a 2.5 stars.

We had the most amazing night. The food was spectacular. I think that might’ve been one of the best season steaks I’ve ever had, and it was cooked perfectly. The onion rings were absolutely the best I ever. had perfect balance and flavoring. The Caesar salad was amazing. Perfect amount of dressing and I love that. It’s homemade. the chocolate mousse with the graham cracker was phenomenal. And the service was beyond amazing. Everyone at the restaurant was greeting us and saying welcome. Definitely a top not experience… Even with the alarms going off at the end of the night.!!!!
