We have just returned from our birthday celebrations at EN Steakhouse. First things first, we thoroughly enjoyed our food. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted incredible. Unfortunately the service we received was very poor. We got offered a drink on our arrival, but that was the last time anyone came to our table apart from taking our food order (apart from one of our side dishes being brought to us 15 mins after the rest of the meal). We sat there with no drinks for over an hour and nobody came to ask how our meals were. The icing on the cake was when the young lady waitress asked us if we could pass her our empty plates, as opposed to walking around the table to collect them herself - without even saying please, too.

Exceptional service, food and venue. Pricey though. However, every other element of the experience was outstanding.

Service was slow and some staff were unattentive, collected plates in huge rush and were gone before we could ask for more drinks. I asked for my steak to be done rare and came out medium.

Welcomed with a smile, staff were courteous, with a relaxed manner yet still attentive. Restaurant had a lovely vibe. Food was lovely and well presented, we splashed out on a 600g Chateaubriand as a birthday treat, delicious!

I ordered the rump steak from the lunchtime menu it was cooked exactly as I’d asked and was delicious I had the passion fruit cheesecake for dessert I’ve never tasted anything like it 😋 Service was excellent I’ll definitely be going back

Great food, well presented. Excellent staff, very attentive without being overbearing. Probably one of the best restaurants in old market if not Hereford. Always good to support local independent restaurants they really stand out from the chains.

The food was exceptional, with care poured into every dish and the service was prompt and attentive without being disruptive or badly timed. Food arrived hot and perfectly cooked, with each of our meals cooked just the way we like, I had a medium rare sirloin that wasn't dripping everywhere, perfectly sealed and hot throughout, and everyone at the table only had good things to say about their meat and accompanying side dishes. The cocktails were delicious and well made, and the selection of beer was a good pairing for a nice, juicy steak or burger. Value for money and good portion size to cost ratio meant that we didn't break the bank to have an exceptional experience. 10/10 for everything, from food to mood, from seating to service, it was an absolute pleasure to visit.
