The Engleside Inn, located in Beach Haven, New Jersey, not only provides its guests with excellent lodging, but it also contains the Leeward Room for fine dining. This on-site restaurant has made a name for itself over the years as one of the finest in the Long Beach islands area. There is also a bar in this restaurant within the Engleside Inn where guests can select from an excellent list of wines and liquors. Premium steaks are a big part of the draw at the Leeward Room at the Engleside Inn. You can find many other examples of fine American cuisine on the menu, such as the scallops encrusted with wasabi or the chicken breast glazed in ginger.

                                                                              The food is always on point, and the service is always great! Especially Doriann. The drinks are always great as well. This is the most consistent go to restaurant in the area and never disapoints.

                                                                              Wait staff goes out of their way to ensure you have the best dining experience. This visit it was Willa. Chris will welcome you at the door if he is not busy in the room. Never a bad meal.

                                                                              Place is a gem. Staff is equally as superb as the food. Has an old school Jersey shore feel that my family loves. Anything in menu won’t disappoint and plates are large so come hungry. Enjoy!

                                                                              This restaurant has been on the island for over 30 years. Food is always good. They are open all year. We like to go in the off season when there aren’t any crowds. We enjoyed our entrees, mine was grilled salmon, I had broccoli and coleslaw. My husband had seafood fra diavlo over pasta. Both were very good. They also have a large selection of fresh sushi. I enjoyed my favorite, tuna crostini as an appetizer.

                                                                              The food is always absolutely excellent and the service is friendly and efficient. The prices are reasonable, and it is one of our favorite restaurants. We both had the prime rib, which was so tender, tasty and huge! And the price was only $35. Can’t be beat!
