Enigma's stylish interior design, signature brand of hospitality, food and cocktail service has added new flair to an already vibrant and historic corridor in the nation's capital, located in between 14th and 13th U street near the African American War Memorial. Serving dinner and brunch on Sundays, the modern and spacious restaurant and lounge is suitable for Happy Hour and large event space. Offering an extensive collection of savory dishes including Whole Red Snapper, Seared Scallops, Wild Mushroom Croquettes, Harmonious Tri-Color Petite Carrots, Succulent Pork Belly, Citrus Kiss Bronzino, Savory 8 oz. DO NOT GO ITS NOT OPEN: 12/ 14 /2024 Received text messages to confirm my reservation, I arrived and the restaurant is closed for renovations. There’s no info that says this elsewhere and they are taking reservations without letting you know they aren’t even open.

Wasn’t open yet processed my reservation. Given that they can’t manage their reservations system I seriously doubt they can manage a restaurant.

BEWARE!! This restaurant is CLOSED for renovations. Currently somehow still taking reservations AND confirming them. We showed up and it was completely closed and under construction with a note on the door. I even got a message to confirm our reservation. Such a mess.

The Enigma website states they are open on Sunday. We showed up and no one was at the restaurant and the restaurant was closed. Additionally, we called the number and no one answered.

Insane noise levels. And of what I could barely make out, the head chef berated my wife. So, you know, good times.

My husband and I had the pleasure of dining at Enigma this past Saturday evening, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality that set the tone for the evening. The food was absolutely delightful, each dish bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Our waiter was attentive and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, making us feel truly taken care of. The bartender also deserves a special mention for mixing some of the best drinks we've had in a long time. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just looking for a great night out, Enigma is the place to go. We can't wait to return!
