Located in the heart of downtown Los Gatos we are a cozy French restaurant offering beautiful but approachable cuisine, wine, and champagne. Our restaurant offers everything from brunch on the weekends to Oysters, Caviar, Boeuf Bourguignon, and the Best Burger in LG. What a great experience. The Duck on the menu was a genuine surprise and was delicious. The duck was tender and almost falling off the bone, and the navy beans and salad were an excellent complement to the duck. My dining partner had the Filet Mignon. It was perfectly cooked and the scallop potatoes were perfect. D'Avonny surprised us with a Raspberry napoleon that was flakey and tasty, yet not too custardy (if that is a word). Once again, a great experience dining at Epernay. I highly recommend this little gem in Los Gatos.

Wonderful lunch. Great food and service. Most tender filet of beef. The potatoes with caviar exceptional. Going back soon to try dinner.

Wonderful and relaxing dinner at Epernay. The beet salad was delicious with the beets cooked perfectly. The French onion soup was nice and hot with melted cheese oozing over the sides. Main course included the bouillabaisse and the filet mignon. Both were not in heavy sauces and you could taste each of the different flavors in both dishes. We topped dinner off with the Napoleon and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Service by Deavannie (sp?) and Pedro were spot on! Thank you for the experience!

Oysters delicious!! Had 6 and then another 6. Needed cocktail fork for oysters instead of little spoon. Tablecloths wrinkled—is this trendy? Very friendly staff. Need another waiter/waitress. Beet salad needed more beets and sprinkling of feta or blue cheese. Instead had unattractive gooey cheese on bottom of plate. Dessert delicious, beignets Would come back. French wine, Pinot noir-delicious. Champagne cocktail - delicious.

Always a delite. Friendly service and outstanding foodin this cozy restaurant. Loved the champagne cocktail as well as the fish entree and the pate appetizer

A rather disappointing experience overall, even more so given the high price tag. The initial server by the waitress was decent, but the food quality (especially the main course) was far from premium. The steak was overcooked and under seasoned (my medium rare steak was more like medium well), and the shrimp in the Bouillabaisse was the same frozen, peeled shrimp you get from any supermarket - and blandly seasoned. The worst part is, when I gave the feedback to a waiter, he outright dismissed my complaint and said that the steak was medium - even though it was clearly medium well if not more. I don’t think it came even close to the price tag it commanded, and certainly made for an extremely disappointing dinner experience.

We ordered the Caviar service with Champagne. I would say this was the best Caviar service we've had in a long time in terms of the quality of the food and the Champagne.
