Dagli editor di OpenTable: From 2024 James Beard semifinalist and acclaimed Suerte chef Fermín Núñez, this chill seafood spot is all about mariscos—think shrimp aguachiles, tuna tiradito, and oysters splashed with salsa negra. The light and airy space features white rafters and hanging plants, and happy hour spills out onto a big back deck. All of it landed Este on Bon Appétit and Esquire’s best new restaurant lists in 2023.

    Este just became one of my favorite restaurant in Greater Austin. Right from the start, the tangy, fresh, taste bud tantalizing duo of salsas served with the corn flat bread were fabulous. The rest of the meal, including the desserts, was truly remarkable. All the service staff contributed to bringing the food quickly to our table. They were well trained, being knowledgeable of the menu and engaging in their conversation. We met the very kind manager at the end of our meal and knew right then and there that she was the maestro for this wonderful experience.

    The food was amazing. We had all the specialties and ceviche. Very fresh fish with spectacular flavor. We had Matthew as a server and he was nothing but wonderful. Thank you Este for a great anniversary dinner.

    The ceviche and aquachile were truly amazing. Bright and fresh. The tamarind margarita was great; novel flavor, and not too sweet. The steak tacos and cochinita pibil were disappointing. We were seated 20 minutes after our reservation. On net I don't expect to come back any time soon.

    The kindness and lovely personalities of the folks at Este are such a gift that I sometimes forget the food is absolutely magical as well. Just an all-around wonderful experience. I came for my birthday and left feeling cared for, with a full belly and an inspired palate. EE was incredible, and made sure my dietary restrictions were tended to with care, as well as made sure my covid-cautious family felt welcomed. Thank you all for a wonderful night. See you again asap!

    Absolutely amazing! One of our favorite places. The margaritas are so good, the tuna with the fried leeks incredible, the steak tacos are the best thing on the menu and the fish with the white sauce - woah.

    Absolutely amazing experience. We have been fans of Suerte for a while and knew we had to try Este. They definitely did not disappoint!! The food and drinks were incredible, and the service was great. We will definitely be coming back.

    Great dining experience! Food is uniquely good and service is top notch. We had dined here previously and knew the dishes, but wait staff are extremely patient in explaining menu to others and offering suggestions of what they might like. We shared a whole dorado and it was superb. Smokey, spicy sauce. New taste experience, as was their take on the classic key lime pie. Drinks are excellent and happy hour from 5-6.
