Estera is housed in the historic district of downtown Christiansted on the island of St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Our exciting take on classic American flavors filter through the dining experience—from the first bite to the last. Expect to see menu items that are uncategorized, fluid and changeable with consistent dinner specials.

Our open kitchen layout and intimate indoor space embodies an ambiance of clean simplicity, warm neutral tones, and a modern industrial feel. Join us at Estera for an intimate evening of fine wine and delectable food. Once a month we feature a different theme, ranging from regions of the world to individual vineyards. Our wine experience features four courses of different wine varietals that are accompanied with our Chef's curated food pairing menu. The night will entail an interactive tasting with guest speakers describing the history of the selected wines and Chef's choice of menu. Reservations are required as seating is limited.

We had a great dinner at Estera last evening. From the initial warm greeting upon arrival, to our wonderful waitress, to the food itself and the “thank you for coming” when we departed. The flavoring of the dishes we had was excellent! I would definitely recommend a visit to anyone on St. Croix so that you too can enjoy a wonderful meal/experience here.

My dirty tequila martini was excellent. I had the fresh tuna special on a wasabi crème served with arugula tossed in a light sesame soy dressing. The tuna was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. Delicious. The key lime pie was ok. Service was great. Too many hard surfaces which makes for a loud space. Definitely a favorite.

Definitely worth making a reservation! Food and ambiance were good and the service was great. They were also very helpful in accommodating my daughter with multiple food allergies. Highly recommend Estera.

Good food Good service. Very loud could not hear table conversation. Air conditioner was freezing they could not turn it down because of kitchen staff.

Great food and service! Pasta perfectly cooked al dente; risotto the same! Schnitzel was delicious and authentic, the pesto superb. There is a nice selection of wines available as well as cocktails. Service was impeccable. Although pricey, well worth it. It is popular locally so make a reservation to ensure availability. I highly recommend Estera and will undoubtedly return.

Nice vibe, excellent menu, nice welcome. The food was excellent and the cocktail menu outstanding. The Service started out very well but then went cold, with a very long, lonely wait for our entrees. We had to ask about dessert options.

We had a wonderful meal last night. Julie was our server and she was terrific. I'm looking forward to going back and trying more things on the menu. There were a lot of specials and all of them sounded delicious. I had been told that it was very noisy and hard to hear. We went early and it was OK in that regard. I'm definitely looking forward to returning. St. Croix has many wonderful restaurants and this is definitely one of them!
