Oxtail & Grits was fabulous, as was the Filet. Our waiter, Conner, was attentive and personable, and we enjoyed our after-dinner drink at the bar. This was our first visit and we'll definitely be back.

This was the best dining experience I’ve had in a very long time. The drinks were excellent and the food was so amazing. The murals in the restaurant are very eye catching and dramatic. Will definitely recommend Etc. to others!!

Went here because it was a new black owned restaurant so I had to show support! Also the tiktok videos had me sold but the food was not up to par with my expectations. The Mississippi catfish dip was really good! The cracker really set it off. I got the oxtail and grits as an entree and it was just too salty and not robust in flavor. My oxtails had more fat than actual meat and the grits were kinda bland. The oxtails were just salty and my sisters agreed. My brother got the lamb chops, Mac n cheese and truffle fries. He said the lampchops were really good! The Mac n cheese had a smoky taste but lacked much seasoning. The fries were a bit bland but the dip was super good so I guess it balanced out. Service was amazing, ambiance was elevated, chic and the bathrooms were clean! Overall I would give my experience 3.5/5.

The host was lovely, and the deviled eggs were great. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill from there. Our waiter was nice but didn’t know the menu, which made it hard to get answers to our questions. My oxtails were cold and overly salty. I had already sent back my drink and didn’t want to send the food back too, especially since I was hungry. While my sister’s food was served hot, the overall experience was disappointing.

The experience was absolutely wonderful, slightly loud but great. We felt relax, not rushed. The wait staff was impeccable! The drinks were delicious. My favorite were the grits & oxtails, the flavor was magnificent. Other guest had Cacio, it was slightly over peppered. But, ok. The parking can be challenging, but again it's Chicago. Take an ride share.

Great atmosphere and location, professional and friendly staff. A few things we wanted to try were not available but we’ll definitely be back. The food was also good.

My daughter and I dined there last night and we were really impressed all the way around. From being greeted at the door (he was fabulous) and our server was equally fabulous. I sat and watched the servers and they were "on-point". There wasn't a glass that wasn't filled immediately, a plate taken away when meal completed in the most timeliest facet. The decor was great - felt like a really vibrant atmosphere and the food, the food, the food was the best. I enjoyed this experience and will definitely refer my friends but more importantly will be back. Chef's Kiss! This is a restaurant you don't want to skip.

By far the worse service I’ve ever experienced at a restaurant..Got to my table at 9:10pm and didn’t meet my waitress until 9:50pm..After receiving my food at 10:45pm 😳 I was done with it all..The bartender Zack brought our drinks TWICE as the waiters were lost,and every table around us were also complaining about the poor service..If it wasn’t for Zack the night would’ve been deplorable…..NEVER GOING BACK

From the moment I walked in, until in moment I left it was all professional. The food came out on time. It was hot. It was amazing. I walked in open minded. It was my anniversary for me and my wife. Our 21st. So it was a very important occasion. So I trusted the environment to celebrate that monumental occasion. And it did just that. I’ll recommend a friend and I’m going again.
