etch is a globally-inspired restaurant by award-winning chef Deb Paquette. The original location opened its doors in 2012 in lively downtown Nashville; the second location opened in fall of 2024 in The Factory at Franklin. The modern restaurant houses two private dining rooms, a full bar, and a chef’s bar, giving guests a look into the restaurants' culinary prowess.

etch’s eclectic menu incorporates innovative dishes inspired by Deb and Executive Chef Jess Lambert's favorite regions of the world to leave a lasting impression, or etch, on every diner. A wine list with over 80 choices is available, along with high-gravity local beers and hand-crafted signature cocktails.

Desserts are prepared in-house by Pastry Chef Megan Williams, whose creations top the list for the city’s sweet confections. House-made ice creams and artfully plated desserts change seasonally, providing a revolving array of treats that will keep you coming back for more.

Etch is truly a culinary gem that exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us with warm smiles and genuine enthusiasm. Their attentiveness throughout the meal was impeccable, offering thoughtful suggestions and ensuring we were comfortable and happy at every step. The ambience is both chic and inviting, striking a perfect balance between modern sophistication and cozy charm. Whether you’re looking for a romantic date night or a place to celebrate with friends, Etch creates the ideal atmosphere for an unforgettable dining experience. The food though is the real star. We were blown away by the creative and flavorful dishes. The venison was cooked to perfection, tender and bursting with flavor. The octopus and shrimp bruschetta appetizer was a delightful blend of textures and tastes, showcasing the chef’s innovative approach. And don’t even get me started on the brussels sprouts – hands down the best I’ve ever had! They were crispy, savory, and absolutely addictive. While you don’t need a side with your entree, we highly recommend the brussel sprouts. If you’re looking for a restaurant that offers outstanding food, incredible service, and an elegant yet comfortable setting, I can’t recommend Etch enough. Do yourself a favor and make it your next dining destination. You won’t regret it! Note: menu changes seasonally

Wonderful food! Would recommend the roasted Cauliflower appetizer, the Filet Mingnon was cooked perfectly, and theCaesar Salad was the best I’ve ever had!

Our experience was sheer perfection in every aspect. The servers were friendly and knowledgeable. The food was exceptional. I can't wait to do this again. So happy that ETCH is in Franklin now!!!!!!

Our server Mack was a delight. She was extremely knowledgeable about the food and wines. She learned our first names when she first came to our table and used them throughout our visit making us feel so welcome and cared for. This was a birthday lunch to celebrate my friend and it is a celebration we both will remember for a long time thanks to Mack and the quality of everything we were served.

My wife and I had an outstanding experience. The entire staff was great. Our drinks from the bar were wonderful. I recommend Leatherbound books. The server was very knowledgeable and charming. We had the carpaccio for the appetizer and it did not disappoint. The filet was one of the best I've ever had but the venison was by far the best thing I've eaten in recent memory. Every bite was a new experience with flavors and textures. We enjoyed some ice cream and the mousse bar for dessert with a nice port. Sitting at the counter is an absolute must if you're able to do so. Watching the kitchen and interacting with nearly everyone was especially fun for us. 10/10
