Ettore Vino e Cucina is the first restaurant and wine tasting room from Ettore Winery, a boutique organic estate and winery in Mendocino, CA, spearheaded by Italian-born winemaker Ettore Biraghi and Sofia Rivier.

In collaboration with Los Angeles' beloved Italian restaurant, Osteria Mamma, Ettore Vino e Cucina brought on Chef Mònica Angelats Coll, a culinary expert with a unique background blending aerospace engineering and fine dining, to lead the kitchen.

The menu is inspired by the team’s Italian heritage and will feature signature dishes like Ettore Tagliatelle Ai Funghi, a red wine pasta with mushrooms, kale, pecorino and hazelnuts and Stinco Di Agnello Con Patatine Al Parmigiano, braised lamb shank, fingerling potatoes and parmigiano reggiano. The restaurant showcases a beautifully-curated design of charming vintage pieces that have a story to tell, creating a one-of-a-kind dining atmosphere.

The restaurant will be open 7 days a week from 11am to 9pm, walk-ins are welcome.

                                                                  My lady and I had dinner here for Valentine’s Day. The food was exceptional! The environment was clean and well done. I called in because we were running late and they accommodated our late arrival. The service was good but could have been better. It seemed that there was one waiter for the attire dining room. They may have been under staffed that night. He was pretty busy. But over a great experience and we will definitely be back.

                                                                  We love Osteria Mama in Larchmont Village and now her sister is our walking-distance neighbor at the Original Farmers Market! The food is truly spectacular; fresh ingredients, well-prepared. Good selection of wines. Friendly and knowledgeable service although a bit slow at times. Love the rustic Italian farmhouse feel, although the lighting in the front of the shop is a bit too bright. Overall, we really enjoy having this gem so close to the house. 4/5 highly recommended.

                                                                  The restaurant wasn't really what we expected. It's in the Farmer's Market which we knew but it is open to the market so it can be noisy and it's very closed even "inside" because the wall is wide open. We had a 730 reservation and there was only one other table there and they started closing things down while we were eating. The staff was loud joking around having fun together. Not the most professional when you have tables. Even if it's only two. The menu is super limited. The prosciutto and mozzarella app was delicious. Could have used bread with it. Got a zucchini salad and it wasn't bad but it was drenched in whatever oil they used which masked the other flavors in the salad. We got two pastas. Both of which were pretty good but not great. They were very small portions. The shrimp that was in one of them was almost nonexistent. Not a bad experience but it's a place you go once and don't come back to. The waiter had to be told to get us our pasta after we had just been sitting there waiting.

                                                                  I had seen a post on Instagram about the collaboration with the chef and winery and I decided to give it a try. It is a small space in the Farmer's Market in Los Angeles, but is decorated really nice and cozy. The menu was small, but had some excellent choices. The food was excellent, as well as the service. I would highly recommend!
