Please note that our patio is seated on a first come first serve basis; all tables are set for a 90 minute reservation limit.

Eva means full of life. It is also the initials to my children, Elias & Vivian Aboujaoude, who are my life. Eva is a space designed to be welcoming and bright, a place for great food, refreshing cocktails and lively conversation. All while sitting back to enjoy and observe the hustle & bustle of beautiful, historic Newbury Street from one of the largest outdoor patios.

                                                                This was our first visit to Eva (formerly this was Cafeteria). Cafeteria was a favorite "go to" place when we lived here in 2008-2020. This new version of the restaurant is wonderful. We sat on their vast outdoor patio and enjoyed the delicious food and excellent service, on a gorgeous spring day. Bravo! We'll be back!

                                                                For a busy Easter / Marathon weekend,we were able to find a reservation at a time that worked for us and not too far in advance. Service was a little slow, but our waiter was very nice. food was good!

                                                                We had a reservation from 7-8:30… they sat us a little after 7:00 as they couldn’t decide which table was for us. At 8:31, a rude manager came and told us it was time for us to leave. We had just paid the check and were clearly leaving soon. It was very unnecessary. The server and the hostesses were lovely. The manager guy should stay in the back office away from the customers

                                                                The food here was mediocre. One of the 5 of us had the fish which was easily the best of the table. The agnolotti with hen of the woods mushrooms was a dish that could have been great but execution was unfortunate. Pasta was too thick and overworked, ricotta and sauce was bland - salt was sadly vacant and there’s no salt on the table. The waitress was very nice but the meal came out before the drinks and the appetizer was not staggered from the main course. The upstairs was very chilly.

                                                                There’s no wonder it was the only reservation available at 630 - very average at best. The host couldn’t seat us until 20 min late, blamed the guests that weren’t leaving and took no responsibility, and there were other tables open. Food was OK but nothing memorable. Our server was the best part, she was very dialed in and considerate. If your desperate on Newbury st, or just want to use their patio, this place will suffice.
