Join us at Evelyn’s Fort Lauderdale, where coastal Florida cuisine meets Eastern Mediterranean flavor. Enjoy elevated Atlantic views and fresh ocean breezes in an atmosphere of sophisticated fun. The name honors Fort Lauderdale luminary Evelyn Fortune Bartlett for the beauty she bestowed upon our city.

A native of Long Island, New York, Chef Brandon Salomon fell in love with cooking at a young age. After training at The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, he worked at acclaimed restaurants and hotels in New York, Florida and San Francisco. In 2015, he joined Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach, where he played a major role at the signature restaurant, Florie’s, helmed by three-Michelin-starred chef Mauro Colagreco. Now in Fort Lauderdale, Chef Brandon is bringing the flavors of the Mediterranean to Evelyn’s.

I googled the best restaurant in Fort Lauderdale, and Evelyn’s showed up at the top of the list. My boyfriend was hesitant to go based on the menu, but boy, we both ended up loving the place! Carlton, our server, is very attentive and has the best smile with a contagious laugh that will put you in a great mood. Highly recommend requesting Carlton (this man deserves a raise and a promotion) if you’re going to Evelyn’s. Drinks were great, and the food was just outstanding. I cannot emphasize how amazing this place is, and you definitely get what you pay for. Nothing is worse than going to dinner and paying high prices when the food and experience were not up to par, but Evelyn's sets an example of how an establishment should be operated. Not pictured is the half chicken and we both agreed it was flavorful and moist.

The food was delicious and they made us feel so welcome! My mother has a shellfish allergy and they reassured her that all her food was cooked in a separate kitchen area from any shellfish. It made the whole experience so relaxing and fun. Also the cocktails are delicious! 10/10!

Had to wait 15 min to sit inside but besides that our Waiter was awesome food was perfect. Short rib and whole fish !!!! Truffle Hummus was perfect!!!

Our window table overlooking the ocean was actually looking at an enormous concrete pillar. It is a mystery why there is even a table placed there!? Good spot for a waiters' station not a four top table.

Evelyn The service is absolutely superb ! The staff is really trained ! Our server was Gregory, he described and explained every dish. The food was creative and delicious even though we went only for appetizers. We wished it wouldn’t be so hidden on the second floor.
