   We had a wonderful experience dining at Everglades! They were so accommodating for our mini food, allergies and sensitivities. The food was delicious, and our server was a delight! Thank you!

   We ate at the Everglades twice this trip and each time it was outstanding. The food was excellent, well prepared and presented in an appealing fashion. The waiter was attentive without being intrusive, and was very helpful with his recommendations.

   Great service. Food was average for the price. Red Snapper was warm around the edges and got cooler as you moved towards the middle. It was a bit mushy as well. Salmon was really good, but again, warm. We could have sent both dishes back, but they were fully cooked and didn't want to risk having them overcooked. The waitress was amazing. We're visiting from Chicago, but will not recommend this restaurant to others.

   The service was good and we liked the fun decor. The alligator chowder is a must have, the filet was top notch and the gravy had a wonderful flavor. We loved the olive tapenade, however the bread was hard. The vegetables on both meals were undercooked and some were very bitter. We asked for no bacon on the chicken meal and the waiter brought it out but said that the onions on top had been cooked with bacon (which he failed to mention ahead of time) and were left on the meal. So one meal had to be recooked which meant one of us had to sit and watch the other eat their steak for most of the time. Also my suggestion is to get your key lime pie from Publix on the way home. This was more of a key lime flan, which we didn’t enjoy.

   Not a very busy restaurant. It was pleasant that the dinners could be spread out throughout the space. We enjoyed our meal and company.

    I feel that this is an average restaurant that presents itself as high end. I was very excited to go, as the menu looks amazing, but I was unimpressed by the first dish— the alligator bay chowder. I didn’t taste a single piece of alligator or bacon, as the ingredients stated, and it was a below average chowder. The filet was not seasoned well, and the onions took away from the opportunity to taste the meat. I salted it a ton, and it was still under seasoned. Unfortunately, the best part of that dish was the mini zucchini. It was seasoned better than the steak. Lastly, the key lime pie tasted like a store bought freezer pie that they slapped some whip cream on. All of the accompanying smears were tart (except for the raspberry) and way too similar to the tartness of the pie. Overall, I was very disappointed and feel I wasted a good meal. It was overpriced, and I would not return.
