For 165 years, the Farmers Arms Hotel has been a gathering place for Daylesford locals and travellers alike. Nowadays, it has evolved into one of the biggest supporters of local producers, showcasing wild and farmed ingredients from around Daylesford and the best of the region. Went here on a first date last night, even though the company was meh, the food was the most incredible food I’ve had, the pasta (which name I cannot pronounce) was orgasmic, my date had fish (he strange) but he boasted about it and cleared his whole plate, we also had chips incase but we did not need them because our food was SCRUMDIDILYUMPTIOUS. The service was amazing, staff checked in on us frequently and gave us a new water once we devoured ours (we are fish). Dessert was bomb, it was the strawberry sundae and oh my gosh I was about to leave my date and take that sundae home instead. The people next to us were also definitely on a first date so that provided some entertainment, so awkward lol. Overall great restaurant, so beautiful in there, very gorgeous. The food is top notch and the people are exquisite. 10/10 would munch again

The service was outstanding, the food was excellent, the venue was full but not bursting at the seams and whole experience was one of the best lunches I’ve had a quite a while. Happy to recommend venue to anyone.

Second time we’ve been here - it’s fantastic. Food is lovely, service is spot on and we were able to take our dogs and sit in the courtyard. Highly recommended!!

Food was excellent Service was outstanding Only issue was there was no kids menu so they did the best with a couple of option but it was very limited. I think there needs to be a couple of pub grub dishes incl kids menu.

Upon arriving we were warmly greeted. The meal was tasty, service was friendly and professional. The new renovation is an improvement to the previous one. Good that the corner door has reopened and west the access to the bar from the bistro area has been reinstated. However, prices are still steep and there better are value for dining options available in town.

The menu needs a change up and more diversity inc the salad which I found hard to eat. Please get a proper coffee machine people drive from everywhere so a coffee before hitting the road would be great. You would make your money back well and truly . Thank you

I enjoyed a lovely early evening meal, started with a delicious refreshing cocktail, a beautifully cooked medium rare filet mignon and finished off with the Panna cotta for dessert. I’ll be back for more.

We enjoyed the atmosphere, staff , food and service. The wait staff, a lovely gentleman was impeccable… The food, we could not fault. Thank you!! We will be returning on many occasions

Choice of beverages was commendable, although speed of service was lacking. Entrees were exceptional (Burrata in Rocket pesto in particular was 10/10). Main courses of Fish and Chips and Duck Sausages with Mash were severely over cooked to the point of being dehydrated. Overall it was ok, but not great.
