Farmshop Marin is Jeff Cerciello’s second outpost which opened in 2013 in the heart of the Marin Country Mart in Larkspur. It follows in the footsteps of Farmshop Los Angeles, the acclaimed restaurant and artisan market that opened in the Brentwood Country Mart in 2010. Farmshop Marin features pristine California-centric ingredients and refined yet comforting dishes.
The impressive 6,500 sq foot space features a comfortable and elegant dining room, outdoor patio, expansive full-bar area seating 50 people, lounge, private dining room seating 60, and an open-hearth wood-burning oven and grill. A gathering space for Marin locals & ferry commuters, the restaurant offers the impeccably-sourced, seasonal California fare Farmshop has come to be known for, with additional pizza, fish and meats fresh from the wood-burning oven and grill.

Please note that reservation of 7 or more require a credit card. Cards will be charged $25 per guest for parties that do not arrive for their reservation.

Delicious poached chicken salad which our nice waiter recommended…more than just chicken and lettuce, very nutritious…YUM!!! We did feel a bit rushed but it was a Sat lunch so busy-busy.

We spilt the bill across 3 cards and when the waiter picked up the receipts he reviewed each and seem displeased with 15% tips. Very unprofessional. Lovely brunch with a not so pleasant ending.

Pros: The service was attentive and informative. The food was fresh and "interesting". The Hamachi was expertly combined with flavor and texture enhancing garnish. It was easy to park and the lunch crowd was not too noisy. Cons: The muscles were an interesting combination of pomegranite seeds and lemon grass served in a giant folded tortilla. Edible but i felt that the flavors were conflicted. I would not order it again. There is an extra charge for the bread.

You're right about the bread – while we proudly source from Della Fattoria and list it on our menu, we acknowledge your comment about the charge. Regarding the mussels, we value your honest feedback about the flavor combination. While we aim to create unique dishes that push culinary boundaries, we understand that not every experimental pairing will resonate with every guest. This was one of the most outstanding dining experiences I have had in the past year. The service was great, the food was AMAZING, the restaurant is so visually pleasing and excellently decorated. I love this place and it will be my first choice whenever I am dining in the area in the future.

Always an excellent place to eat! Cocktails while elevated are pricey. They have expanded the menu to include alcohol free Cocktails too. We sat at a lovely corner table outside and were pleased with the prompt service for lunch. I tried the mushroom fritatta, which was excellent, and my wife thoroughly enjoyed her French toast! I usually order the Shakshuka, a favorite, but it is very filling, so I wanted to eat lighter.

Our server was excellent, but this restaurant can be pretty noisy. This was fine for us because we were a group of 5 celebrating two birthdays. Nice menu options. Veggie sides and starters are excellent.
