Farmshop Marin is Jeff Cerciello’s second outpost which opened in 2013 in the heart of the Marin Country Mart in Larkspur. It follows in the footsteps of Farmshop Los Angeles, the acclaimed restaurant and artisan market that opened in the Brentwood Country Mart in 2010. Farmshop Marin features pristine California-centric ingredients and refined yet comforting dishes.
The impressive 6,500 sq foot space features a comfortable and elegant dining room, outdoor patio, expansive full-bar area seating 50 people, lounge, private dining room seating 60, and an open-hearth wood-burning oven and grill. A gathering space for Marin locals & ferry commuters, the restaurant offers the impeccably-sourced, seasonal California fare Farmshop has come to be known for, with additional pizza, fish and meats fresh from the wood-burning oven and grill.

Please note that reservation of 7 or more require a credit card. Cards will be charged $25 per guest for parties that do not arrive for their reservation.

Great spot. Food always delivers. Service can be mixed. Prices could be lower (especially for small portions). For example, last night paid $17 for a cup of lentil soup. Ouch.

Noise level inside is extremely loud. Ask for an outdoor (enclosed) patio table and you won’t be disappointed.

Once again, it felt like the server could not be bothered. The bartenders were quite lovely but the dinner server was not. The wine pours were tiny for the high sticker price and the food was really sub par. Only it Marin would this pass.

While we're glad you enjoyed your interaction with our bartenders, it's concerning that your server seemed disinterested. This doesn't reflect our service standards. Regarding the wine pours, our standard is 5oz per glass. If you received less, this is something we need to address immediately. We understand your frustration about value, especially considering our pricing. We're equally concerned about the food quality you experienced. Everything we ordered was delicious. King Salmon, Rock shrimp pasta and frittata were all hits. Earlier got some tapas like olives, hummus and especially recommend the ceviche. Will be back to try some other things on the menu like the pizzas.

Food was all delicious as were the cocktails. Little overpriced and service was patchy, but we will be back.

Perhaps having a nice, warm, spring-like day contributed to a very busy lunch time … it was my first time to dine here to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Food was very good! Service was a bit slow, but it was bustling so totally understand …Will return with my husband next time.

The food has slipped - too much olive oil and sauce on everything - while fine dining is always expensive the preparation of the food doesn’t match the price (a $68 steak should be close to perfect) esp when it’s ala carte. Hostesses are rarely friendly/welcoming - kind of a “you’re lucky to dine here and if I’m slightly indifferent to you it makes us more sophisticated”. The setting is lovely - inside and out so I still bring guests here to have a special night out but I don’t eat here regularly anymore.
