Inspired by the rich culinary history of the Bue Grasso (fat ox) Festival of Carrù Italy, Fat Ox serves modern interpretations of traditional Italian dishes from acclaimed local Chef /owner Matt Carter.

The sleek 7,000 sq/ft restaurant features hand made pastas crafted in house daily, slow-roasted meats and seafood, an international wine list and a full craft cocktail bar to make for a truly special experience.

The newly renovated front patio and our beautiful courtyard patio are the perfect place to enjoy the fall weather.

Fat Ox boasts both private- and semi-private, as well as indoor and outdoor options for hosting your special events. Behind a beautiful sliding wooden doors imported from Italy, our Rosso Room provides a private space for up to 50 seated guests, with an outdoor patio that is perfect for a standing or seated cocktail reception and/or seating for an additional 50 guests. The Fireplace room can seat up to 40 guests with a curtain providing visual separation from the restaurant for a semi-private event. Our chefs can craft a tasting, choice of or family-style menu from our award-wining Modern Italian cuisine that will wow your guests.

Wonderful food, well presented, tasty and exquisite without being excessive. The staff are attentive and helpful. The restaurant is beautiful, airy and welcoming. My only criticism is the presence of a few tv screens over the bar. Overall highly recommended

We had a fabulous dinner at the Fat Ox. I highly recommend the grilled octopus appetizer and the waygu gnocchi. Our server, Evan was a rock star. We will definitely be back.

Terrific dining experience. The food was fabulous, the servers were outstanding, knew the menu well and made great suggestions! Fun environment worth going back!

Food was good but not amazing for the price ($220 for 3 people). It was loud to the extent that we had trouble having a conversation. Server was Scottsdale snobby, gave us the ick. Probably wouldn’t go back.

Our total experience was awesome. I usually do not do reviews but Fat Ox really surprised us. We were seated outside which was much quieter than inside but the ambiance was perfect along with the food and service. One of the best dining experience we have had. Great job Fat Ox!!!
