When we walked in we waited about 20 minutes after our reservation at the bar. You can tell they were short staff. We eventually got seated and was taken care of by the floor manager. I only knew she was the floor manager because I asked if they even had a manager on duty. She said unfortunately I am and I apologize for the wait. They didn’t have most of the items on the menu. We waited almost 45 minute for our brunch items. Then my friend couldn’t even enjoy her entree because they ran out of the chicken sandwich. We also had room temperature drinks. It was a mess! But they staff did all that they could.

I don’t know if we caught them on a bad day or if this is how things usually are but I was so disappointed. They ran out of shrimp for the shrimp and grits, ran out of waffles for the chicken and waffles. Even certain alcohol they ran out so we couldn’t order specific drinks. We were seated at 2:35 and didn’t get our first drink until about 3:15. They did give us a discount on our bill but overall I couldn’t let go of how poor everything was. They started running out of glassware so certain drinks were in different cups.

A cute, quiet spot with GREAT Latin music (very Latin Caribbean and tropical). The manager, Mikaelle, was a total sweetheart. Definitely visit during Bottomless Brunch on the weekends.

They have a new dinner menu that is literally incredible. We need more vibrant spicy spots like this in the city. The drinks are so luxurious too. I’m now a fan of upscale rum

I found this place online & it’s seemed to have good food & drinks but upon arrival the service was very rude. We ordered drinks once we got our table & they took a very long time for us to actually get them. The food we ordered came before the drinks actually did and they weren’t even good. The drinks were very strong and had a very strange after taste that can be compared to nail polish remover.

Basic. That’s what comes to mind. Drinks were subpar, food palpable. I was so excited to go based on the write up I saw. I will not entertain going back.

It was great wish the menu had more items. Felt it was very limited. But the food was very flavorful.

The food was ok. Drinks were great. And the service left much to be desired. Our waitress was not attentive to us at all. We had to call her several times to get refills on our drinks.

The service was slow. The original server never came back to our table to check on us. I understand business has been affected by COVID but when you observe many of the staff sitting at the bar hanging out there is really no excuse. The items we did order wasn't even put in correctly. Ultimately we waited for food that if course never arrived. I won't be returning.
