   Waiter was good. Personable .. food was on the margin.. I ordered a waygu steak medium rare.” Cooked medium at best.. when it to the waiter that I never complain about a steak being over cooked, he asked another server to explain .. btw, I’m a food science instructor .. I know what medium rare is supposed to look and taste .. I didn’t argue.. just moved on… the mushroom risotto was gummy and needed salt.. bacon Mac and cheese left a lot to be desired… overall this was truly disappointing… I expect more when the meal costs $210 for 2 people

   Our food was excellent and our service was great. Appetizers were great and steaks cooked perfectly. Will certainly be back.

   We had a fabulous dinner last night at Fields to celebrate our anniversary. My husband ordered the wedge salad, filet, asparagus & Parmesan potatoes. I had the wedge salad, petite filet, and mushroom risotto. Everything was perfectly seasoned, prepared and plated. The risotto was decadent. We finished off our meal with the banana bread cheesecake and crème brûlée. Our server and other restaurant staff were very welcoming and attentive. We were so pleased with our meal. We would definitely highly recommend this restaurant.

    Very nice choices of appetizers, oysters are great, great selection of entrees. All of the plates were nicely presented. Awesome drink selection for the occasion. The specials looked awesome and the block for 2 looked great coming with 2 steaks with upgrades available, scallops, shrimp and a lobster tail. They offer even a tomohawk ribeye you can upgrade on that special for a very reasonable price considering. Me and my wife will be back!
