   Booked a reservation through Open Table for a business dinner and even confirmed 2 days in advance. We showed up to the restaurant at the correct time and place only to find a sign that said the restaurant was closed for a private party. Except no one was inside. I tried calling the restaurant and only received a recorded line. We walked by again 2 hours late and still no one was inside. We were really disappointed as this restaurant was a favorite of ours on previous visits to DC.

   The restaurant was closed. The sign of “closed for a private event” has been up at least a week. Please check into the restaurant’s status and see if it’s closed permanently?

   Venue took my reservation and then was closed for a private event leaving me to scramble for dinner plans with business guests. The restaurant has not responded to my inquiries and did not answer the phone when we called.

   Despite having to confirm my reservation at least twice, when I arrived at the restaurant for my lunch reservation, the restaurant was closed. No one had called me to let me know the restaurant wouldn’t be open.

   The food was prepared well, but took much longer than expected. The service was also sub par. The restaurant was not very crowded, so I would have expected a more conscientious server.

   Terrible service. Restaurant table had chips on finish —plastic place mats torn. Sat for a very very long time before even getting drinks. Kitchen slow. Terrible experience. Sad to see this restaurant fall so low

    The food was okay, but the cocktails were great. A mouse did run across the restaurant a few times prompting multiple groups including mine to leave, and management didn’t offer anything for the inconvenience besides a sorry. Will not be coming back. Great atmosphere though!
