   We were fans of Fiore when it was in South Philly and were excited to hear that they were reopening for dinner. Food, ambiance and service were excellent. Alexa, our server, was great. The cacio e pepe frittelle with tomato jam, the mezzaluna and the malloreddus ragu were especially delicious. The roast chicken was out of this world. And don't forget gelato for dessert! It was worth the hour long travel time and the Philly potholes for the experience. We will certainly return!

   This place may have the best pasta in a city that has a lot of great pasta places. A couple notes. Ambiance is just fair. It’s a bit odd because they do takeout, too, which can be challenging in a small place. It did not feel like people were hovering over us, but we were nervous that they might. The tables are basic. Also the reservation system left us scratching our heads. The place was almost empty at 7:00 and even 7:30 on Saturday. We had tried to book a table for 4 and at least 3 of those sat empty for the hour we were there. Odd. In the plus side we felt loved and cared for from The minute we walked in and the food was great. Save room for dessert!

   dinner still needs work although i would try it again for coffee and pastries. salad and brassica were great. everything else was not. Ribs were tough. Cobia had an odd flavor. Malloredas pasta was rubbery and undercooked. So loud in the room it was oppressive. I would not return on a busy night.
