The ambience of this restaurant is right up there with the best steak houses. A little noisier than most due to the high ceilings and lacking sound dampeners but the darker fixtures and ambient lighting and fireplace was a nice touch. It resembles a JGilberts but much larger. The tables did not have any candles or “mood” lighting. The service from our waitress and the manager was very cordial and attentive. Here’s where this visit falls short. The 7oz filet was asked to be prepared med rare and it was more med raw. Only the outside could be eaten or 3 oz. It was even cold in the middle. My gf ordered the caprese chicken and when it was served there was no chicken. They made it right and prepared a fresh dish but she said it was very basic and lacked the balsamic vinegar and flavor. So I had my raw steak and she had nothing for a bit. In the end the meal was stricken from the bill. Due to that the overall value for the experience improved but still was mid to low. Every restaurant has a bad day and will try this again maybe for the burgers vs a steak in the future.

Really great place for brunch. This might be my “go-to” brunch spot when visiting family in Missouri. Great service and vibe!

Food is great, service top notch from Nate. Some nearby tables a bit loud. 3 course meal really special but too much food. Took home enough for second dinner.

We decided to eat here on New Year's Eve because we had eaten here several times prior and enjoyed the experiences. This meal was no different. The restaurant was extremely busy, but the staff kept up the pace, turning tables quickly. The server came promptly, and our food came quickly. We both had the filet mignon, which was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. My potatoes au gratin was good, but my husband's baked potato was phenomenal! Good cocktail and wine selection. We s[lit a slice of carrot cake for dessert. Huge, and really tasty. Definitely a spot we'll return to.

My family of four had New Year’s Eve dinner at the St. Charles, Mo location. We were seated immediately and service was very well addressed. My wife and I ordered old fashions “neat”. The drinks were served with ice and muddled. We don’t like our drinks with ice or muddled. We will be careful to specify “no ice” next time. We ordered Bacon Deviled Eggs as an appetizer. Those were so good! My older son and I ordered the garlic sirloin steak medium rare with mushrooms and grilled onions with a side baked potato. The steaks were delicious and made to perfection. It quickly made me forget about our drink issue. My wife had the Seared Ahi Tuna which she thoroughly enjoyed. My younger son had a pepper Jack cheeseburger with fries which was “really good”. Overall a very pleasant experience and delicious food. The ambience was not noisy and we easily conducted conversation throughout our meal. We will likely return.

Horrible service , food came out cold and waitress only came to the table once to check on it but the manager was very nice and made everything right

Brunch was great we all enjoyed our meals. Service was good. Prices are a little higher then most places we go for breakfast, but the quality made up for that easily.
