   Small place , meat on skewer were salty , our waitresses just not on point poorly explained how the menu worked red and green labels. No mixed drinks only mocktails at best there was a sangria . Place is small more like a bistro not a restaurant which you kinda feel rushed as they are always asking if they can clear the plates . For what we paid for two people including tip $180 we will not be coming back and that’s how restaurants fold and go out of business .

   Food was outstanding. Service at the beginning was great, but went downhill towards the end of our dining experience. We had to talk to two different people to get our bill and before that the food service declined.

   A Must-Visit! I dined at Fogão Gaúcho often, and it’s an incredible experience! The warm atmosphere set the stage for the star of the show: the Brazilian rodizio featuring **12 to 15 fire-roasted cuts of meat** served tableside, all perfectly grilled and bursting with flavor. The delicious sides, including grilled vegetables and rice, paired perfectly with the meats, and the fine wine selection was a great touch. The service was exceptional, making us feel right at home. It’s the perfect spot to celebrate with family and friends. I highly recommend Fogão Gaúcho for authentic Brazilian cuisine—we'll definitely be back!

   Food was phenominal, it all came out in bunches. We wouldnt see anything for 10 minutes and then wed get bombarded with 6 things all at once. Would not recommend the key lime pie, but they were out of the creme brulee, tres leches, flan, and coffee for the affogatos so it was one of the last options. Sangria was delicious and one glass gave me a little buzz!

   Great idea on elk grove. Beans were very salty, meat no seasoning, too much char on the meat, and a lot of it was over cooked. Gaucho's need to come more frequently and with different cuts of meat. The meat say so long it continued to cook and burn. Not very flavorful or tender. Servers were great and attentive.

   Upon our arrival about 1/2 the tables were filled. The Maitre D’ attempted to seat us right in front of the entrance door & claimed all other tables were reserved. It was a very cold night, my 2 Friends & I are all over 65 years old & were unwilling to sit in the draft of the front door. I advised the Host that if that was the only table available, we would like to cancel our reservation! Then we were offered a different table away from the door. The experience improved from there. Once seated, we received excellent service, we enjoyed the full Brazilian Steakhouse experience with the premium proteins. The meats were delicious and a perfect temperature when served, the pre-meal offering of salad, soup, black beans, rice, lobster bisque, candied bacon & other charcuterie was exactly what we expected. Great value for the price and if not for the initial issue with the seating I would have rated this restaurant higher.

   overall everything was good, as expected of a brazillian steak house. Service was good, decor was nice, the self serve area could use some minor improvements

    It’s expensive. Family of four was $250 including 20% tip. The buffet bar was solid but a bit limited. But the food is tremendous and the service was great! Finally, a Brazilian steakhouse in Elk Grove!
