Nice experience but to slow to bring meats around we were there a hour and they only brought us 3 meats once

Went to Fogo de Chao on Saturday night with reservations at 830, for the first time in the history of us going to the restaurant we were able to be sat immediately. We were greeted quickly and gave our server our drink orders and then proceeded to the salad bar. I was terribly disappointed to learn that they didn’t have any rice to serve as a side, instead they had thanksgiving sides like stuffing and sweet potato casserole. As someone who frequents this restaurant I think it would have been in their best interest to still keep the usual sides as well as the seasonal options. I’m not of fan of Brazilian food and stuffing. I also had stuffing on thanksgiving and leftovers the following day, so by the time Saturday rolled around I was definitely tired of eating stuffing. Fortunately for our table they were able to secure some rice for us. We did have to ask for a side of mashed potatoes and plantains that are normally offered to the table. Overall the meats were ok. I find they lacked seasoning and flavor. It’s just wasn’t their best on Saturday. I will probably try another establishment before returning here.

We had to wait 1+hr to be seated with our reservation. What's the purpose of making a reservation if they are not going to honor it? They clearly overbooked on purpose.

The food quality was exceptional. We decided to give this place a try for Thanksgiving, but it was far too crowded, and even with a reservation, the wait to be seated was excessively long.

Salad bar was plentiful with a large variety of salad, veggies, cheeses, and salami/salmon options. Main meat course was a little bit lacking - most beef options are very salty. Seems like they offered garlic steak the most which was actually pretty tasty. Filet mignon came once and and was only available cooked Medium so it was kind of dry. I did not try the lamb (I’m not a fan of lamb) but others at the table said it was good. Accidentally got the mineral water ($8) instead of tap water which bummed me out.

We had the Markettable buffet. It was great. Make sure to get the cheese rolls, polenta sticks, plantain s, and mashed potatoes that are included so you have the warm sides. I especially enjoyed the soup this time as well.
