The food and the staff in fogo de Chao in Walt Whitman branch is superb. We highly recommend it.

I don’t mind paying for a good meal, but this was horrible . I know it’s a holiday and I’ve been in the industry myself. The cocktails were terrible and they’re charging me full price. Like I said, I don’t mind paying for good quality. I didn’t see one manager on the floor, directing anything. If you can’t properly staff, then don’t open. This is a chain so then just keep a few of the restaurants open so they can run properly. Very very disappointing. I’m sure the people that were working. We’re doing their best to handle it all.

We had high hopes for our Christmas Eve dinner at Fogo De Chão in Huntington, especially after making an 8:30 PM reservation. Unfortunately, the experience was far from what we expected. The main issue was the lack of meats coming around. For a restaurant known for its continuous service of freshly grilled cuts, it was incredibly disappointing to have such long waits between servings. When the meats did come around, they were consistently overcooked, which further dampened the experience. The service was equally subpar. It felt as though the staff was either overwhelmed or uninterested. Our table was frequently ignored, and we had to repeatedly ask for items that should have been proactively offered. For the premium price and the special occasion, this experience fell far below expectations. We were really looking forward to a memorable evening, but sadly, this wasn’t it.

Went for a Christmas dinner this week and reserved a table for 8. We were greeted and seated right away, that’s where the service ended. Waitress was terrible, she didn’t explain the menu well, she seemed sleepy and tired, had to keep asking where our drinks were, the appetizer came before our drinks. She ended up disappearing and we found another waitress to help us get the check at the end of the night. For a place this expensive they need to train their wait staff better and not hire kids that don’t want to be there.

Poor service, if you are not sitting by where the meats come out you don't get many choices. Saw many different meats that other tables were served but the server either never came to my table or was out of the meat by the time he got near us.

I am a huge fan of FOGO. Last night, it was off. Way less meat selections in the EXPERIENCE, young waiter who was clueless telling us they don't serve unsweetened iced tea. Continually being interrupted by servers asking if everything is OK or what dishes they could clear away, over the top. No signature cheese bread was put on table and sides were brought out too early and got cold. Staff continued to seem out of sync asking the same questions, like they werent working together. All staff are kind and pleasant, just a mediocre night.

I ordered the experience which is the all you can eat service. I wanted to try everything but with a concentration on the lamb chops, however we saw the lamb chops when we were being seated, but never after being seated. I repeatedly asked the wait staff for 30 minutes continuously after waiting without asking for 45 minutes, and they kept telling me they will be out in 5 minutes. Finally I asked for a manager, and they was brought out with 5 minutes. By the time they were brought out everyone in my party was already done eating and places cleared. For an expensive restaurant that is not acceptable. Very dissatisfied

Update I haven’t received a response from management and I did what they requested by submitting the form. Terrible way to address this by ignoring my concerns and experience at such a high end establishment. My son chose to go here for his 17th birthday dinner family. There were 8 of us. 7 adults 1 child. 6 ordered the full experience, 1 child and 1 Brazilian. We didn’t know they made a mistake and put down everyone for Brazilian. We realized no one was offered the higher end cuts and asked. For a restaurant of this caliber that was a very disappointing mistake. Then we were charged for 6 full when we addressed it with the server. 2 of us didn’t want it at the point they realized the mistake. In any case we should have been given the lower experience or comped. By the time it was realized it wasn’t enjoyed as much as it would have been had they been offered at first. We have eaten there a few times and this time failed our expectations. I have sent further details through your restaurant website form. I also need to note we never got one drink that my sister in law ordered even after she asked if they had it- unsweetened ice tea. It wasn’t on bill. Not once did a manager once over after we alerted the server to our concerns and we had so many different servers it was difficult to know who was in charge of our table.

Meat was excellent. My wife ordered fish and it came not cooked. We asked to be cooked more. It came back cold and with the wrong vegetables. The manager was very nice and gave my wife steak at N/C.
