Lovely atmosphere with a live Brazilian trio singing during dinner. Our server, Jessie, was so pleasant, and the manager came to our table to check on us. Wonderful salad bar! The mango salsa and the chicken salad are really tasty. My favorite meat selection would have to be the sirloin and filet - cooked perfectly, juicy, and tender. Highly recommend this Oakbrook location. I was glad we made reservations because this place is very busy.

It seemed they were overbooked for the Valentine's holiday. There were 40 to 50 people at a time just waiting for a table even though they had reservations. All of the meat coming out had a burnt layer to it and was over salted. It seemed like they were trying to cook everything as fast as they could to keep up with the demands of how full the restaurant was. We had been there several times before, and it had felt like an elegant experience. Now, it just feels like a crowded buffet. We will never return again. $220 for a table of three with no alcohol purchased. We could have gone somewhere else for a stake dinner, and it probably would have been cheaper.

Never walked into a fogo and it be so crowded. Not the experience I was used to. Really disappointed for our valentines weekend

I love ❤️ Fogo de Chao but what needs to change is the wait time to get seated at a table. It's chaotic the area where you wait for a table is too small for the amount of people there waiting to be seated.

We love going to Fogo, even just for bar bites and drinks. Services is always good. But one thing they need to work on is reservation time. We waited a little over an hour for our reservation.

Mal espero más de una hora una mesa con reservación y cuando me tocó camine con la señorita para la mesa me dijo la señorita espera unos minutos en lo que la limpian espere un lado de la mesa y en eso llegó alguien más de las trabajadoras y le dio la mesa que estaba esperando a alguien más y me quedé ahí a un lado como un estúpido creo que eso no estaba bien tiene. Que tener más comunicación un súper mal servicio la verdad primera y última vez que vuelvo a ir súper mal

It was busy as expected. However no excuse to be serving raw meat. We got raw bacon wrapped steak TWICE and raw top sirloin despite asking for medium well. My meat was raw with a very light brown sear and blood still on the inside. I told a waitress and she said “okay” so not sure what that meant but raw meat is a no no. They’re going to get someone sick!!! Also noted in my reservation I had a banana allergy and they still brought the caramelized bananas or plantains whatever they are to my table. Even i reminded them of my allergy the waiter who was dropping them off looked annoyed… Not worth the money we paid! They could’ve done better

I rarely leave a bad review. I understand it is Valentine’s Day weekend. However, for $65 per person I felt the need to make a comment. Our reservation was for 3:15. We were seated promptly. We were greeted by our server promptly. It pretty much went downhill from there. Many items were not labeled or mislabeled at the salad bar. The people who brought out the food on skewers were few and far between. The portions they were providing were practically slivers of meat. So we would wait long periods of time between when someone would show up with food and receive a very small portion. We waited about half an hour for 4 iced teas. 3 showed up at the table. The 4th one finally arrived and then it would take time to get refills on iced tea and/or water. For the first hour all 5 people in our party had their green cards turned up and only 2 skewer people visited our table. We told our server about this twice and the frequency did not change. The mashed potatoes that were brought to the table were swimming in a pool of butter. The polenta was hard, dry, and cold. We were celebrating 2 birthdays and were told that each celebrant would receive a complimentary dessert. It took a long time for the dessert to arrive at the table. The crème brûlée did not have a hard shell. It seemed to have been sitting somewhere for a length of time. In the end we were charged for the desserts. That had to be corrected. It was corrected on the bill after asking. Our seat was near the door and the wine cabinet. A member of our party had to move twice so that servers could access the wine cabinet. People in our party who were sitting in the aisle had people who were waiting for their tables hovering over them. All in all it was a horrible experience. Not worth $65 per person and we will not be returning.
