The Forage Public House serves a contemporary American and gastropub-style cuisine. The restaurant offers a traditional dining space in its bright and sophisticated interior. The ambience is generally welcoming and casual. Forage Public House also offers outdoor patio seating for its customers. The restaurant's food is prepared fresh from locally sourced ingredients by resident Chef Demetrios. Brunch is served at the restaurant on the weekends.

The Forage Public House menu contains a large variety of savory meals for lunch and dinner. Popular items on the menu include the wing crawl, the short ribs, the rainbow trout, the Amish chicken and the tuna melt. The restaurant also offers vegan and vegetarian meal options. Craft cocktails, beers and wines are also available at the bar section.

                                                                                    Staff was not attentive, food and drinks were clearly rushed. Some of the worst cocktails I have ever had, and we ordered their “signature” drinks. We asked to try different cocktails in hopes to find something better, and the replacements were actually worse that the first round

Completely understaffed and it was not busy despite being NYE, waited 30+ minutes for drinks and to order food. Ordered and then told multiple times following that they were “out of that” choose something else. 45+ minutes for food, completely forgot to bring salads. Had to ask for dirty dishes to be cleared. Took 2 1/2 hours for dinner.

                                                                                    The food had good flavor however most items were lukewarm. Either server was new or having an off night. Not very attentive. Brought wrong drinks and then overcharged for them.

                                                                                    Service was exceptional. Jennifer did a great job in interacting with us. The food was great. Had the Lakewood salad with grilled chicken. The greens were fresh and the fruit delicious. Just the right amount of dressing. The chicken was tender and savory. Had bread pudding for desert, it was large enough to share and also delicious. Price was in line with the experience.

                                                                                    The ambience was wonderful and calming. Jess ws our waiter and she was attentive and so pleasant. The food was varied and delicious. I don't eat dairy and they accommodated me without hesitation. A great Saturday night out at a superb restaurant.

                                                                                    This place is fairly nondescript, as it is in the bottom level of an apartment complex, but don’t let that fool you. The cocktails were great and the food just as good. Service was attentive and pricing was in line with quality and service. This was our second trip while visit friends in Lakewood, and I’m sure we will be back on a future visit.

                                                                                    The food was delicious and came out as ordered but my avocado toast was cold. The eggs were cooked perfectly and everyone’s food was good. Service was excellent! Very good brunch.
