It was a really nice dinner with great steaks that was made below average by really poor waitering. It was for an anniversary and the hostess had called ahead of time to get details and such but the dessert with the congratulations never arrived. This is just 1 example of the continuing misses all night. Wine glasses going empty bread arriving after salad, asking finally if we wanted drinks after we ate the steaks with water because it was all we had. Yeah first world problems, but at the cost this should not be an issue. If this was my first time I’d not come back. He seemed like we were an inconvenience to his day. Steaks were delicious and were well cooked when they arrived but as we waited for the remainder of the meal they continued to cook😢 So food 4.5 /5 Service 1/5 On a positive for other dinners they all seemed to have a great time with their food and drinks seeming to arrive on time with great explanations of the food and what was next. If you don’t get the guy we had you d have a great time.

Great place for top-quality steak and service. The value was just right and not over the top. We haven't been here for several years but plan on returning.

We wanted a steak house experience. Service was excellent. We had an early reservation, 5 pm. Steaks excellent; sides were only warm. We were seated next to the aisle which was outside access. Door to outside was kept open and was noisy. Al in all, we had a great time.

We love this place. Wonderful traditional steakhouse. The service was great and they don’t rush you. Wonderful wine list.

Got the prix fixe with osso bucco for each of us (two people): one had as much fat as the meat and te other had a bone as big as the meat all that on small portions. Not worth the $95. One of us also got sick that night. We used to like that high-end restaurant in Los Gatos, but no longer.

Four people ordered: a filet, 2 ribeyes and a lobster/filet. My 8oz filet was ordered medium rare, but was overcooked to medium. It was sent back and what came out to replace it was prepared perfectly. It was tender, juicy and a “spot on” medium rare. The other orders were cooked just right as well. The service and attention were excellent. We liked the menu options available and the flexibility of the sides and appreciated all the info our waiter gave us to help us hone our order.
