Drawing inspiration from the region’s history and natural surroundings, the 156-seat freestanding restaurant reflects elemental themes of wood, water, iron, and fire, reminiscent of the carriage houses and blacksmith shops that once dotted the landscape. The centerpiece of Forge & Vine is an eight-foot wood fired grill and open kitchen with counter seating where guests can enjoy dinner while interacting with the chef. Welcoming residents as well as visitors to the area, Forge & Vine offers a strong sense of place with a design sensibility that brings in the outside with floor to ceiling windows offering breathtaking pastoral views of Gibbett Hill. New Year’s Eve is a wonderful night out if you’re with good friends in a beautiful environment. Such was the case at Forge and Vine. Service was especially thoughtful and appreciated. The hostess set us up at a table in front of the musician who serenaded in 2025. Our dishes from smalls to main, and on to desert were very good. I wish we had ordered the charcuterie board. They looked spectacular coming out and the cold seafood offerings looked equally appealing. Next time I’m going for both and we will sit at the bar. And next time I’ll order my Berkshire pork cooked medium rare, as mine was a tad over cooked. We first learned about this place attending a wedding rehearsal dinner. The food that night was amazing, especially for large party dinning. All in all, we usually don’t go out nye, knowing you don’t get the best from a dinning experience. I’m glad we did. I look forward to returning!

We had a reservation and were seated right away. The waitress was friendly and attentive - anticipated all needs. We got the poutine to start (amazing), and then ordered the braised short ribs and steak frites. Everything was delicious and perfectly prepared.

Great dinner as usual. The noise didn't bother us. It was loud but it was also New years Eve. Everyone was having a good time.The food was amazing. Drinks were good too. Never had a bad experience at Forge and Vine. See you again in 2025!

We did have to wait for our table but understand it was busy. Our meals were fantastic. Only suggestion is to lighten up on the salt. 3 of us had the filet and the gravy was exceptionally salty

Amazing New Year’s Eve meal! The Milanese and the halibut were perfect! Our server, Lauren, was welcoming, attentive and kind! Great way to finish 2024…thank you, Forge and Vine!

Although we had excellent service, we did not like sitting in the side room (porch?) as much as the other areas of the restaurant. The Brussels sprouts and poutine appetizers were very good. The salmon and burger (came with a ton of crispy fries) were tasty but the cauliflower steak was not cooked enough and I did not care for the outside coating. The draft Sauvignon Blanc was lovely, btw, and we will be back another time.

Our experience at Forge and Vine is always exceptional and beautiful ambience. You have exceptional food, superior service, and friendliness, when it comes to the people who greet you at the front door to all staff I have ever come across over numerous visits.
