Drawing inspiration from the region’s history and natural surroundings, the 156-seat freestanding restaurant reflects elemental themes of wood, water, iron, and fire, reminiscent of the carriage houses and blacksmith shops that once dotted the landscape. The centerpiece of Forge & Vine is an eight-foot wood fired grill and open kitchen with counter seating where guests can enjoy dinner while interacting with the chef. Welcoming residents as well as visitors to the area, Forge & Vine offers a strong sense of place with a design sensibility that brings in the outside with floor to ceiling windows offering breathtaking pastoral views of Gibbett Hill. Ambience was quiet and warm, felt very intimate. Service was slow, but enjoyable. I ordered a cosmopolitan which was a bit sweet, but then ended with an espresso martini that was delicious! Food was great, and service was amazing and attentive. I would visit again on a special occasion. For the price I’d say a 7/10. Overall nice experience if your looking for an intimate night out

We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience last night. It was our first time at Forge and Vine. It was so cozy in the restaurant. I cannot wait to see the view in the spring. Our server Lorien was wonderful.

We’ve enjoyed special occasions at Forge & Vine before, so we were surprised by our disappointing experience this time. After a solid start with a good appetizer, we waited 70 minutes for our entrées—without a single visit from our server to refresh drinks or provide an update. We understand that busy nights can lead to delays, but communication is key. When our meals finally arrived, the vegetables were so undercooked they were cold and hard in the middle—not what we expected for a $240 dinner for two. Unfortunately, this made for a frustrating and underwhelming Valentine’s Day. Hoping this was just an off night, but it certainly didn’t meet the standard we’ve come to expect.

Great dinner last night at Forge and Vine. Very busy as it was Valentines Day. Only problem was I made the reservation online months ago for 4 people and requested a high top. When we arrived we were told reservation was only for 2 people. Luckily I had the confirmation in my email when it said 4 for a high top. Very quickly they were able to accommodate us at a lower table not the high top that was requested. Table worked out fine and dinner was great. Still can’t figure out where the disconnect was but overall a great night.

Dined on Valentines Day with my wife and it was amazing. Food and service was top notch. I keep thinking about the grilled shrimp and polenta appetizer. It was incredible. Wish we had room for dessert because the German Chocolate Cake looked delicious. Will definitely be going back soon.
