Forty Dean Street is the pinnacle of affordable Italian cuisine in busy Soho. We are a small, family run restaurant dedicated to providing incredible food at incredible prices. Our set menu boasts a variety of sensational dishes built around fresh, seasonal produce and has customers coming back on a daily basis. Our à la carte menu is a favourite with our regulars, the media crowd and tourists alike.
Italian food has been served at Forty Dean Street for more than 17 years, so we like to think there’s nothing we haven’t mastered. So pop in for an Aperol Spritz!

    Piccolo ristorantino in zona centralissima per la movida serale di Londra. Un pò rumoroso, ma personale simpatico e cordiale. Cibo buono e cucinato bene, sia i primi sia i secondi. Considerati gli standard di Londra, consigliato se si vuole mangiare meglio. Consigliato, da provare. I prezzi sono nella media di Londra.

    Food was excellent and service was solid. Hospitality was not great as we were extremely rushed by the staff. I recognize that we were 15 minutes late, but we assured them that we would still be finished within our allotted two hours. Felt like the only priority was flipping the tables.

    The restaurant and its menu was authentic and executed very well with prompt arrival of all our dishes and we were all happy with our food. However we had arrived 10mins early and was told that we will have to wait yet the staff were quite abrupt when being told this, additionally being seated past our booking time after we waited patiently. This tone continued through our meal. I must say that our waitress for the table was very helpful and welcoming, besides other members of staff. I would like to come and dine here again but the overall experience received was conflicting as the food was cooked to a good standard with amazing hearty flavours.

    Out of every place I have been to in London, this quaint restaurant makes you feel truly at home. Danny and Cristina were the ones who made our dining experience a 10/10, so a big thank you to you! Our little dog had also been given his own seat at the table, so I would recommend 40 Dean Street to anyone with a furry friend in need for a bite.

    Outstanding Italian restaurant in the heart of Soho. Three of us shared a starter of Calamari and Zucchini, with a huge bowl of green olives. We then had mains of the chicken risotto, pappardelle with beef and a Margherita pizza. The portions were way bigger than we were anticipating leaving no room for desserts. Every item we tried was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. Service was exceptional. The final bill which included a glass of wine and two bottles of fizzy water came to £120 (including service). Highly recommended but just make sure you bring a big appetite!

    Had a great evening at 40 Dean Street. Ordered bruschetta, penne arrabbiata and profiterole and all three dishes were great. The service was lovely and well managed. Danny's service was welcoming and friendly, as was Natalia's. Lovely, intimate atmosphere. Will definitely be visiting 40 Dean Street again

    Best place we’ve been to this week. Despite sitting outside, food was great and the service very friendly. Definitely heading back.
