Make sure you let them know you want back your change in order to tip by Cash. Our server thought she was getting a 55$ tip and was rude when asked for the change....are you kidding me, otherwise than that my second experience was great. Thanks Fox on john

Made a reservation. Only outdoor was available. Warned my friends to dress warm, and we did. But, they did not turn on all of the outdoor heaters! We left because it was freezing and we knew our food would get cold. If you're offering outside in freezing weather, you should have all of your heaters turned on, OR say you are full and not take on more guests. Insanely unprofessional, selfish, and a huge waste of our time.

I made a reservation ahead of time, when the weather was much better and asked for an outside seating option if available. On the day of the reservation, the weather dropped to -1 with a strong wind, and when the hostess was welcoming me she said that since my original reservation showed an outdoors preference she won't give me and my elderly dad a table indoors. It was freezing outside and there was no one on the patio; in fact it didn't even look ready for service. I thought it was very poor customer service, in particular when I made a reservation ahead of time. Toronto weather in March is unpredictable and can change from day to day; it's absolutely unreasonable to expect people to dine in freezing cold with strong wind. We went to Earl's after and they accommodated us without a reservation. I think I'll think twice before I ever decide to dine here again.

Absolutely phenomenal! This all-you-can-eat, all-you-can-drink spot exceeded all my expectations. The food was incredible—everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The drinks were just as amazing, well-made and constantly flowing. But what really made the experience unforgettable was the service. Ewe and David were beyond fantastic—attentive, friendly, and always making sure we had everything we needed. Their energy and professionalism truly elevated the entire experience. I can’t recommend this place enough, and I’ll definitely be coming back!

Fantastic brunch. Food and service were excellent. Comfy spot with great ambiance. We were only in Toronto for one night, but would definitely come back here if we ever visit again.

Lauren was amazing! We were in a hurry to get to our show on time and she made sure all our drinks and food made it out asap and we made it to the show in plenty of time 🫶🏻

We went on a Thursday for a work outing at 6pm. Vibes were cool as there was a DJ, but music was really loud (hard to socialize without yelling with a big group) and felt more club-like, drinks and food were good for their price that day. Servers lacked enthusiasm and weren’t really proactive with picking up plates and such. Drink portions were off for some drinks and got some orders wrong, but it’s all good. It was probably just too busy. Still would come back but maybe with friends.

Fox on John is always a great place to grab a bite and drinks. Never disappoints! They know how to handle groups, even when you're short on time and running out for a show at one of the nearby theatres. Great menu, good food and amazing staff!
