                                This was the first time I eat at this restaurant and simply put, it was delicious! I invited a friend to join me and we had a wonderful time. The specialty drinks yummy. For our food, we shared the mushroom strudel and the escargot ... OMG the flavors, the texture, exquisite and the fresh baked bread is so good. For our main dish, we each ordered the chef''s special that evening was Cod fish with roasted vegetables. Each bite of the cod melted in my mouth and the veggies were cooked to perfection. I also enjoyed the rose wine. I am definitely going back and telling all my friends about it!

                                This is one of the best dining values in Palm Springs. The food is excellent and creative. Wine list is also good. The chef and server are ever present so it's like having great meal in a friend's dining room. I definitely will return while still in town.

                                Hidden Gem in Palm Springs north, out of the touristy zones, and truly a not-to-miss for foodies in the area. Helmed by a Swiss Culinary-educated and trained master chef, this small restaurant located on the grounds of a 50's-style motel is a very small space, about 10 tables with a staff of two (Chef Frederick & partner who runs the front of house dining room). Although very casual, you will find the food and small menu to be as authentic and terrific as the best French restaurant you'll ever experience in the area. Fun, personal & casual and a short drive from the tourist zone in the famous Palm Springs. Fred is probably the highest-rated and best chef ever to have been in Mammoth Lakes, helming several very important restaurants in Mammoth Lakes, California, including the very best restaurants in that resort town for decades, to start an intimate dining experience from scratch in this fun, personable space in the desert community. We have followed him for over 20 years, and never been disappointed in any way. Best news is that the menu is compact, and prices are very reasonable, as is the short but impressive wine list alongside terrific and creative cocktails. There is also a small bar attached. We were thrilled to catch up with him, and so should you (insert smiley here). Highest recommendation, enjoy!

                                Freddies Kitchen is a gem. The food is outstanding and the service is friendly and professional. It's a bit of a splurge but if you're looking for a special meal this is a great choice.

                                We held our group family holiday/birthday party at Freddie’s Kitchen this year and we are so glad we did! The planning experience was easy and a pleasure. The chef/owner Freddie guided us with recommendations that suited our needs. The party itself was one of our best ever! This staff was attentive and the food was amazing even serving 20 of us at the same time. We ordered off the menu - with a few surprises and delights the restaurant helped us plan. It has already been decided we will book Freddie’s again next year for our annual party.
