At Fresco Wine Bar and Grill we feature an award winning wine list, and a casual, yet sophisticated atmosphere. Located in the River Village shopping center, Leone invites you and your family to enjoy a wonderful dining experience. The kitchen only cooked one dish and it took a while to get the second one and our wine was delayed as well

What a great time! The restaurant (and bar area) was packed because it was Valentines Day! But it couldn’t have been a better experience. The staff was super nice and attentive, the ambiance was so awesome! Soft lighting, great acoustics; imagine all tables full but not having a hard time hearing my husband. I got the special which was halibut with lobster stuffed ravioli with a sauce, too die for! Our waiter Andy was the best; there when you needed him otherwise not hovering. Everything about the place and night was perfect, which is hard to come by these days! Bravo Fresco Grill!!

loved everything about this restaurant. my husband said “best lasagna” he’s had and that in itself says lots!! can’t wait to be sitting on the patio🍷🍝♥️

Love the place. Great staff Ivan is the Best. Great sea food. Great appetizers and the spaghetti is wonderful. The lamb is the best in San Diego

This was our second visit to this restaurant as we had a great experience the first time. This second time fell short though. Our waitress, though very sweet, was inexperienced, and service was slow. Part of that may not have been her fault as she told us there was only one bartender so the drinks were very slow in coming. They were delicious when they finally arrived. My husband ordered the chicken parmigiana. About 10 minutes later our server informed us they were out of it. Then almost right away she said they had one more order. When we got our entrees there were two pieces of chicken on his plate. One was great and the one underneath was so tough it couldn't be cut. Our server was very gracious and offered to remove it from the check. All in all I would still give it another try.

Outstanding atmosphere, Great waiter, great staff. The food was 100 percent on the mark, my favorite Italian Restaurant in San Diego. We will go again soon

We have been to this restaurant dozens of times and have spent New Year's Eve with them three or four times. We were very disappointed last night. It was a very cold evening and the hostess put us at probably the worst table in the house. Every time the front door opened, the cold air blew right in on this table. We asked to be moved. We waited about 10 minutes while other people came in and were seated right away. We were told that the open tables were for the 6:45 reservations (ours were for 6:30 and we arrived about 6:15). The hostesses were finally able to put together a table for us in clear view of the table we vacated. No one else was ever seated there the whole evening. Our server was very attentive and was doing his best given the crowd. We got our scallop appetizer extremely quickly. A server came by with an additional order and asked if we had ordered two and we said no. We were finished with it by the time we received our bottle of wine. We finished the bottle of wine before our meals were served and our server kept apologizing for the delay. He did ask us once to remind him what we had ordered. People came well after we did and were seated next to us. They were finished and left the restaurant before we even got our meals. My husband ordered salmone fresco alla griglia and I ordered fettuccine alfredo con pollo. Our meals were very good, and as I said, our server was doing his best, but the staff seemed a bit disorganized and chaotic. This was not the New Year's Eve celebration that we were expecting.

My only complaint is with the app, not the restaurant. Everything was great regarding the food and service. Making our reservation through OpenTable- there was no option to select preference for indoor dining (it said unavailable). Upon arrival we were told that the only option was outdoor dining. This is something that should be stated on the app. There were several other dining groups that had a similar experience. It didn’t ruin our evening at all, but it definitely could have…
