The Friars' Table is steeped in the Franciscan tradition of care and community.

Located in Cleveland's Playhouse Square James Beard Finalist Brandon Chrostowski brings a cuisine focusing on Monastic ingredients and techniques in a chic, curated setting. The Friars' Table features dishes including hearty soups and stews, seasonal salads, Salmon St. Celestine and braised lamb shoulder along with wine and cocktails highlighting simplicity and tradition.

The Friars' Table was uniquely founded by Brother Phillip Bernier of The Capuchin Ministries of Cleveland in partnership with Brandon Chrostowski of EDWINS Leadership and Restaurant Institute. The mission focus on serving those in our community working to improve life through cuisine and education.

Friar’s Table is a wonderful addition to Playhouse Square. Its mission is commendable , and is supported by gracious waitstaff and an interesting menu and beverage selection. We enjoyed our appetizers and entrees which were nicely prepared and creatively presented. We look forward to visiting again soon.

Ryan the host was wonder. Food was incredible. Atmosphere wonderful. They messed up our check with table next to us but quickly fixed it and adjusted bill

Delicious meal. Service little slow. Had to pass on dessert or coffee after dinner to get to theater on time.

Cute vibe with attention to detail down to the silverware and water glasses. Limited but interesting menu. Service was good but slightly slow in the end as we had to wait for dessert and checks before going to theater. Plenty of friendly staff.

Our dinner was delicious and we were able to easily attend our show at the playhouse after! They were able to accommodate my request to add chicken to my salad. I really enjoyed it! The menu is small but everything looks good! I would definitely return!

This was such a good dining experience. Great food, great service. The meal was wonderful and done in a timely fashion so you can make shows or get a nice meal afterwards in a timely manner.

Enjoyed a meal prior to a show at Playhouse Square with family. Menu is unique with something for everyone. I enjoyed perfectly cooked salmon with delicious sauce, others in the party thoroughly enjoyed their meals. We were also visited by a friar expressing appreciation during our dinner. Service attentive and friendly. It was a tremendous pleasure to support this restaurant. Thank you!

loved the stew on this cold winter day. Dinner salad was fresh and dressing delightful. Nice to have another restaurant in the theatre district.
