The food was pretty good - I really enjoyed the reuben and my wife said the grilled cheese and soup was tasty. The service was… surprisingly bad, though. We were greeted with a “what?” instead of “hello” upon arrival. When we were seated, the only thing anyone said was “you have to order your food right away.” We were told that 3 times, in fact, before anyone came over to take said order. We did as asked, and the food came fairly quickly. About halfway through eating our meal, the check was deposited and we were told we needed to pay immediately. I understand it was late-ish on a holiday and I’m sure the employees were hoping to go home soon, but not only were we not the only people in the restaurant eating, and there were still reservation times available later than ours. At no point did anyone check on us, offer a refill, say “hello,” or acknowledge us as anything more than a nuisance. This would have been a completely different experience with some basic customer service training.

Everything was good except wanted 3 separate checks or at least we pay our share on CC AND THEY WOULDNT DO IT! I was at the one on 48 th street last week and they did it !

Great food, large portions, very reasonable prices, no ce atmosphere. Because of all its good qualities it gets crowded and noise level is high. Go during off hours…

Yeah, I really like my experience there they waiter was very nice. The food was very good Thanksgiving dinner. It was very good food and well prepared according to the holidays so I would recommend the place. It was very nice to talk because the noise level was adequate.
