Fuji Japanese Restaurant in Haddonfield has been featured in both Zagat and the Philadelphia Inquirer for its popular and massive menu of Asian cuisine. There are actually three menus at Fuji Japanese Restaurant: one for sushi, one for lunch and another for dinner.

The sushi menu includes small plates and combination platters of sushi and sashimi.

There are nearly three-dozen forms of maki available as well, including specialty versions. Temaki is served here too. Other popular items at Fuji Japanese Restaurant are the chicken with plum wine sauce, Chilean sea bass, ginger pork, panko-crusted crab cakes, multiple forms of tempura and combination plates that give you samples of more than one item.

Great food, good service. We went on a busy evening (the day after Valentine's Day -a Saturday evening) so it was extremely crowded. The staff worked hard the entire time, so there were no major complaints - but an extra worker or two might have helped for such a busy day.

The restaurant overbooked and reservations were not honored. The management’s response was extremely aloof. Will not dine here again.

This was truly the worst restaurant experience. We had a reservation for 6:45pm, showed up at 6:44 to a line of 20 people outside of the restaurant. People were waiting for takeout and to be seated. We called to verify our reservation and was told they’d be seating us soon. We did not get seated until 7:20 and were sandwiches between two other tables, close enough to cough on one another. Nobody came over to us and as we looked around and saw only a few tables had any food we decided this was not the experience we had hoped for. We were not even offered water or a drink order. After 20 minutes sitting and looking at our menus we decided to walk out. Very disappointing and we will never go back. This restaurant cannot accommodate takeout orders and an over full restaurant. Terrible service, no ambience / packed in Mike sardines….do not waste your time.

Beautiful decor, nice ambiance , great sushi, great price, and service. Only negative was the noise level.

Again, a fabulous culinary experience!!! Sushi was outstanding! Enjoyed wonderful soba noodle soup for the New Year. Can never not order spicy tuna tartare and Wakame salad. Also loved the jalapeño seared yellowtail. What a meal to welcome in the New Year!
