I booked through open table but when I got there they had no record of booking I kept details on my phone and they found me a table

We asked for the tuna steak to be medium rare however, it came out overcooked. When we kindly ask the waiter about getting it replaced she kindly took the tuna steak away. However, another waiter/duty manager came back with the tuna steak and asked abruptly “what’s wrong with this steak” we explained the issue of it being too well done. The waiter/duty manager started slicing it open and asked us to look at it closer. We explained again this isn’t medium rare and then he carried on standing their trying to make us feel guilty for sending it back and he kept justifying the tuna steak is not over cooked. At this point I was so disappointed that a waiter is stopping us from having a pleasant evening and our other items of food continue to get cold. In the end we had to show him a picture of how the tuna steak should of looked like. We also cancelled the alternative tuna steak and he was persuading us to order something else but at this point we were so embarrassed and wanted to leave. I’ve been to Fumo many times and this has to be the worst restaurant experience I’ve been through. The guilt and harassment we were made to feel was so bad and no apology in the end.

Fantastic Restaurant, food was excellent and so was the service. We have been here many times, just a bit disappointed that we had to leave by 5.30pm our table was booked for 4pm on New Years Eve, we were hoping for a good 2hours and the website nor restaurant never told us you were closing early when booking which put an abrupt end to what was a lovely afternoon

Enjoyed lunch here, food and table service were good and didn’t have to wait long to be served. As with those either side of us, we all ordered far too much food by being told to order 5-6 mini plates each, for lunch we’d have been happy with around half that. At least we know for next time.

One of my fave places and first time in the Selfridges one. Fantastic as usual but service was disjointed with waiters spending lots of time talking to each other in Italian rather than serving. Think I will stick with the Fumo restaurant near the Ivy which was much more attentive. Food was amass always!

Great lunch. Good choice and value for money. Enjoyed the pasta. Cheese board could have been better. Beautifully presented but only 2 different cheeses and bread was dry, no butter. Would definitely go back but pass on the cheese.
