We are locals who had visited here just after they opened. Wanted to give them a second chance to celebrate my birthday. The wait staff was helpful and attentive without hovering. The ambiance was very nice and we enjoyed conversing with our family at the table without shouting which is often hard to do in some of the best restaurants here. Unfortunately, the food we chose upon recommendation, was not up to the standards we would expect from the cost to dine here. The tuna was ordered rare and came medium at best. Short ribs were expected to be fall off of the bone tender. They were ordinary at best. We were disappointed overall. Such a lovely setting and upscale prices deserve better.

I have dined at Gabrielle a couple of years ago and had a less than satisfying experience. However, recent positive reviews brought me back to try again. What can I say? My husband and I brought our son here for his birthday. I requested (in the reservation) that a bottle of champagne be at the table when we arrived. No champagne. No mention of it. I let it go. Drinks were ordered instead. They didn’t have the bourbon we asked for and got my drink wrong twice. The menu offers a nice selection but the actual food left much to be desired. Filet mignon was over cooked, pork chop was undercooked (almost raw), tuna steak was cooked as I ordered but lacked taste. There were two menu items that were very good, the lobster Mac and cheese and the wagu beef lettuce wraps. Of course we ordered dessert, we were celebrating a birthday! It was some sort of pecan spice cake thing, awful. After a disappointing first experience two years ago, I tried once again to like this place. Considering the prices they charge I expect more. I will not be back any time soon.

Never had a Server and very hard time to get anyone to act like they cared that we were there. Prime brunch time and only two other tables were there, but everything took 20 minutes, finally a hostess helped us. The menu looked subpar and standard for a regular hotel brunch. Certainly not what we expected Going to a hotel of this caliber. We decided to just have croissants and eat somewhere else. $75 later (total of two mimosas, one cup of coffee, and two chocolate croissants) in one hour of our time wasted. very glad we did not stay for a full brunch.
