   I took my mom to Gallo Nero last night for her Birthday and it is an incredible experience. The food is delicious, well prepared with a lot of detail. Chicken Parm is amazing, Burrata and of course all the pasta is fresh homemade. The ambiance was put together to create such an enjoyable vibe. Finally, it’s some of the best service you will get. Our service (I don’t know the guy’s name), is passionate like he might own the place and took so much pride in his menu, helping us to create the best dinner experience. Saturday they are having live music, an accordion player! Trust me you need to try this place. The food is just as good as top notch Hoboken Jersey City restaurants and the service/ambiance is unparalleled. Oh…..and its about $20 a plate. Amazing evening.

   Excellent all around, was very surprised with how great the food and service was. All reviews are spot on about being a great restaurant. Highly recommend coming here!

   Came to this restaurant for Valentine’s Day. Made reservations for 730. Was not Served until almost an hour later. And waited an hour for appetizer and then another hour for main course. Spent 4 hours at a restaurant! Crazy!

   Excellent Restaurant, upscale with great service, amazing food taste and great atmosphere. Professional staff that makes you feel at home right from when you get there, attentive and friendly. I will highly recommend and we will definitely visit next time thank you gallo nero team

   Went here for New Years Eve, two days ago. Although the food was great, the service from the owner/manager not very welcoming at all. We felt like we were a bother to him. They advertised a package without being clear on the options and what it all entails or doesn't. Need to advertise a little better to avoid the confusion my boyfriend and myself experienced that night, which made the whole night and dinner very uncomfortable. Needless to say, there are plenty of better options for Italian food out there, where my business is appreciated. I will never step into this place or any of your other establishments because your customer service is poor. Thankfulky two of your servers Jose and another gentleman, were the reason we ended up staying and not walking out that night. They went above and beyond to repair the treatment from manager. But this was my last time here.

   Great food and atmosphere. Really friendly owners and staff. - they moved from Hell’s Kitchen NYC and now in jersey. We’ll be back.

   Great atmosphere, happened to be in a wedding set up at the garden and was a great addition to our night. Food is great, wine is adequate.

    This is an amazing place!! The food, ambience, and service is spectacular! Great portions and great taste. Amazing calamari, melts in your mouth and the tiramisu is homemade and delicious. We will definitely visit again and will be recommending Gallo Nero to everyone!
