   Really beautiful food really nice staff at the restaurant front reception staff not the happiest people in the world.

   There were 7 of us for dinner. One of our group had the gnocchi, in the small size. She received 7 pieces of gnocchi for $18, which we felt maybe was an entree size, not a small main meal. We did ask the waitress who told us that was usual. Other guests at our table also chose small meals, but the gnocchi was the smallest. It was served in a huge bowl so looked really small as well. Tasted nice, but very disappointed

   6 people dined in total. One person ordered T-bone and got a rump, so order was wrong. One person ordered a large pasta and serving was very small for the price paid. I ordered a Timtam cheesecake and got a Timtam slice which shouldn't be called a cheesecake. Probably not one of the best meals overall.

   Garrisons at Townsville RSL is great, food and drink service is fast, kids meals and drink and ice cream vouchers are fun.

   Can't fault anything, apart from the time it took to clear our table. We did ask for it to be cleaned. It was half cleared, then we had to ask someone else to clear it, which it was. Apart from that we had a wonderful night.

   Garrison’s food was tasteless. I ordered Chicken Curry. It was like a soup. I didn’t find one piece of chicken. Got some chickpeas and ginger. Absolutely inedible. The place should be absolutely embarrassed to serve this poor excuse of a meal. Never, never, never going back.

   Unfortunately we had to wait an unreasonable amount of time for our food and the garlic bread came out with the mains. The chicken was over cooked and the sauce was just a very basic tomato. The steak wasn’t cooked correctly undercooked and very fatty. The noise in the restaurant area was way too loud as there was a live band playing opposite. The waiting staff were friendly however appeared to be very rushed and under pressure. The bar staff were unfriendly and gave the impression that they’d rather be somewhere else. Not a good experience unfortunately.

    We hadn’t dined at Garrisons before and really enjoyed our meals. We will definitely return!
