Gather Craft Kitchen & Bar, located in The Leaf at Assiniboine Park, explores food from across cultures, incorporating fresh, locally-sourced, and seasonal ingredients from our gardens. Craveable dishes incorporate traditional flavours and techniques from around the world, inspired by the nature that surrounds us all. Pickled, preserved, fermented or straight off the vine, local ingredients are creatively prepared to highlight the amazing growers and farmers in Manitoba. Meghan our server was on point. Her service was excellent. Our meals were delicious and delivered quickly. The signature drinks from the bar menu were fun and refreshing. We loved everything about our experience, Thank you

Our reservation was at 11:15 am and there were only 4 other peope (2 tables) in the restaurant at the time of our arrival. The waitress when handing the menus out that the soup and grill cheez was already sold out, and at that time there was no one eating and the restaurant only opened at 11 am This was the only soup choice on the menu. Burger was not very tasty , however ordered the salad which I thought was great. Linguini was very tasty but small portion

Our server, Larissa, was great. She was very prompt and attentive. Our water glasses were never empty and she was friendly. I was disappointed with my lunch. I ordered the Gather salad and added chicken. For $28, I was expecting an awesome salad. It was so sad. In terms of portion size, there was a lot of spring mix, but not enough pears, the nuts were not seasoned or candied, and there was absolutely no cheese ( goat cheese would have been a great addition). The flavour was bland and all one note. I would not order it again, but I would be willing to go again and try something else.

Interesting food combinations. Always something new to try. The server was very helpful advising my friend who normally isn’t a fan of spicy food. We had the curry dish and the chicken burger and shared both our dishes. Both were great. Very tasty fries as well.

Great experience! We were seated immediately. Staff was friendly and the food was excellent. Would recommend if you’re looking for a special place to dine.

Karla, our waitress was wonderful. Pleasant, prompt, helpful We will be back again Had the mushroom scallop risotto and the sirloin . Excellent meals
