   My overall experience was just average. The service was extremely slow in the beginning so much that my husband and I contemplated about leaving. I will not return due to the food just being okay along with all the brunch rules. However, one positive note is I liked that you could switch your unlimited drinks during brunch, allowing you to taste the different options.

   Wow I had a blast at Gatsby ! I took my aunt on her first DC brunch here. She had a ball!! The DJ was spinning the drinks were flowing and the food was phenomenal. Shout out the Cheryl she was our server made us very welcomed and even recommended my new favorite drink Gretas punch ! I will defiantly be coming back. We need more places like this :)

   The manager on duty was very friendly and professional. Our server attended to our every requests; even made suggestions that worked out great!

   Monday evening dinner for 7 - no Nats game so the restaurant was VERY quiet. Service was abominable and the food only marginally better. At 7:00, our party was one of only 3 tables in the restaurant, with only 3 people at the bar. NO EXCUSE for service to be so poor - it's not like she (or the manager or runners or anyone else) were being overwhelmed with business. Restaurant automatically added 20% gratuity, which, in this case, was more generous than was deserved. Our requests for additional drinks, etc., had to be made several times before being filled. Server seemed incapable of taking orders for drinks and appetizers at the same time. Disappeared after taking the drink order. Same thing between appetizers and entrees. Definitely not up to the restaurant group's reputation.

   The food was wonderful, but the service took a long time. Their dirty martinis aren’t great, and we had to send both our drinks back to get redone because they were lacking. Additionally, we both found hair in our food on two separate occasions. I also never received the salad that was supposed to come w my dish.
