Join us this Valentine's Day for a romantic evening set in candlelight with cocktails, finest wines and Latin inspired dishes. Looking for something extra special, our Valentine's menu for £55pp including a bottle of wine is perfect to share. For starters dive into a Black Truffle and Mushroom Fugazetta (a decadent Argentinian-style pizza), for mains choose from our top cuts of steak plus sides, and to end on a sweet note we have a delicious berry-laden Mille Feuille with Chantilly cream.

Just a short stroll from Waverley Station and steps from St. Andrew Square, Gaucho Edinburgh is our first restaurant in Scotland, bringing the finest free-range, grass-fed Aberdeen Angus beef from Argentina to the heart of the city.

We proudly celebrate Scottish produce, working with Campbell’s Meats, the world-renowned IJ Mellis cheesemonger and Mark Murphy fruit and vegetables. Of course, we have a cocktail using Irn Bru and are pleased to serve Stewart’s Craft Lager, brewed out of Loanhead.

Plus, we’re ecstatic to share the triumphant return of Cafe Patron XO to Gaucho – we are the first restaurant in the UK to welcome it home. The coffee-based liquor has left a tequila-shaped hole on our shelves for the past three years, but you can look forward to a shot of the sweet digestif to round off your experience with us. L'esperienza non è stata male, ma poteva andare molto meglio. La location era carina, ma ci hanno parcheggiato in un tavolo per due vicino alla cucina e sotto un faro di luce fastidioso, nonostante avessimo prenotato con largo anticipo. Il personale davvero molto cortese e preparato, e abbiamo apprezzato la pazienza per non capire la lingua diversa. Abbiamo dovuto aspettare più di mezz'ora per una porzione di carne e un contorno, tuttavia ci è stata portata una porzione di patatine per l'inconveniente (almeno credo). Il filetto era davvero molto buono e tenero, tuttavia non hanno rispettato la cottura richiesta (media) perché superficialmente era parzialmente bruciato. Inoltre, il contorno di "teneri" broccoli grigliati corrispondeva ad un piattino con 5 rametti di verdura totalmente crudi. Alla fine, la ragazza che ci aveva accompagnato al tavolo ci ha detto che potevamo chiedere di cambiare il cibo, ma non lo abbiamo fatto per non aspettare ulteriormente per mangiare. Ci è dispiaciuto molto perché in realtà dalle nostre parti si mangia bene, speriamo in esperienze migliori.

Tutto pessimo. Solo la bistecca sufficiente. Il resto terribile, antipasti voto zero, costolette di angnello idem. Il vino salvabile. Conto spropositato.

Bella our waitress is what made the evening a very good experience tbh she was friendly and helpful hardworking and we had a good laugh with her . Atmosphere was a little louder than we expected but still an overall good night for valentines night . The valentines menu was a good mix of light starters and deserts with a good size sharing meal for 2 as a main ! Service was exceptional Bella deserves a pay rise 😊
