We host a celebration of contemporary Argentine cuisine and the tradition, values, and culture of the Gaucho lifestyle. We take pride in providing our guests with an authentic experience in a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for social and business lunches, entertaining dinners, and fun celebrations. Established in 2016. Gaucho Grill USA began its operation in Hollywood, CA in the early 1990's. The earliest restaurants practiced traditional Argentine cuisine and have been quite successful as a result. The newest location in Downey, CA unveils a new, contemporary approach to fine Argentine steaks, cuisine, and libations. Gaucho Grill Argentine Steakhouse in Downey has a fully-operating bar and nightlife which perfectly complements the already fervent environment within its walls.

All employees were welcoming and accommodating. Great quality of food - we had steak, lobster, salad, mashed potatoes, and rice. All delicious. I had a smoked mescal drink that was very nice too!

Meat and veg are equally gourmet! The homemade chimichurri in spicy or fragrant are the best I’ve had. We travel 50+ miles just to eat at this restaurant! We are definitely foodies and steak snobs, and we continue to return. If you haven’t tried it, it’s a must try.

                                                                                                                                                                                                            This is an Argentinian steakhouse and they didn’t have chimichurri. I’ve fantasized about experiencing some proper Argentinian steak with chimichurri due to how the acidic and flavorful sauce can balance the cattiness and smokiness of the steak. The front of the house didn’t even know how to handle the situation. I don’t even remember the last time I walked out of a restaurant but it was an easy choice this time.

But also great pasta, empanadas, chimichurri, and seafood dishes too. Many people didn't realize Gaucho Grill was back in Pasadena, but realized everyone I met there was a repeat customer. There's really no comparison to an American steakhouse because there are so many more option here. And they make lots of great cocktails out of my favorite spirit, Tequila Mandala. We'll be back again with the entire family next time.

I think they were short staffed when we arrived around 5:15 because around 6 service picked up. We were in the restaurant not bar for Happy Hour

The host was completely lost and unwelcoming, service was slow, and the noise from kids made it hard to enjoy the meal. Overall, not satisfied.

Appetizers took a long time to come out. The chicken and cheese empanadas and chipas were good! We ordered the tomahawk steak and it was a disappointment. We were there for over two hours and left unsatisfied.

                                                                                                                                                                                                            My family and I went to Gaucho Grill for my husband's birthday. We are so glad we chose this particular restaurant. The food was beyond excellent. We were given bread and chimichurri sauce. It was Tomahawk Tuesday, so they offered a deal on the Tomahawk steak. It was the most delicious, melt in your mouth steak I have ever had. It came with potatoes with bacon, sauteed vegetables and empanadas. All of the food was delicious , well flavored and hot. The servers were very attentive and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant.
