Very nice fire and overall setting to dine in. Good portions for entrees. Bar costs were lower than expected and a nice surprise. Enjoyable overall.

The food was terrific, and the service was impeccable. Jamie took such great care of us! The food is always perfect. You will never be disappointed with the steak. It is cooked perfectly every time. Save room for dessert and coffee. You won't be disappointed!

Great food and atmosphere. Four of us were celebrating birthdays and our desserts came with whipped cream and a lit candle. Very festive. Fireplaces were much appreciated on a cold night.

The General Warren is one of my favorite places to dine. The wine list is always interesting and nicely priced. The food is always delicious and well presented. The GW’s chef is quite talented - his offerings (from starters to dessert) are a perfect mix of traditional and imaginative. The items in each dish complement each other extraordinarily - specifically chosen with flavor, texture, and visual appeal. The GW’s dining rooms have a most elegant & comfortable ambience - candles and flowers on the tables, the feel of dining in a home, tasteful early American decor …. All in all a charming experience.

Our server was outstanding. I feel terrible I can’t remember her name. So much personality. The salmon, bronziino and steak au poivre were excellent. Compliments to the chef. The turtle soup, mushroom bisque and Caesar Salad were also excellent. The desserts topped off a fantastic dinner.

General Warren Inn always delivers. Whether it's a classic like their beef Wellington, or one of the seasonal items you get something amazing. The dining room is always spotless and the staff are all friendly and helpful. Our server Jen took great care of us.

Great anniversary dinner. Salad and mushroom soup to start. Then my wife had beef Wellington, tender filet inside a flaky crust, mashed potatoes and broccoli. She loved it all. I had the Lamb Ragout, a delicious blend of braised lamb with potatoes, white beans, onions. Had a great flavor, very hearty. Finished with an Apple tart with vanilla ice cream. Drinks, pear martini and honey old fashioned, plus a glass of French merlot complemented everything. Service was measured and perfect.
